The United States of America is undergoing some profound Astrology and with the upcoming Presidential Election on November 5th 2024- I see some HUGE astrological events incoming that could go one of two ways. We could get the True Revolutionary President we need that can lead our country out of the shadows and back into the Light- OR we could get a duplicitous, dishonest puppet president who destabilizes our country and sends it into a tail spin. I know what I will choose- how about you?
There are 3 Main Astrological Events incoming that occur between October 2023 and July 2025- spanning just under 2 years. The biggest chunk of it occurs AFTER the next Presidential Inauguration – letting me know very clearly that who we elect will be very much tied into the Astrology unfolding.
To summarize it – we head into a Progressed New Moon at 20 Pisces in March 2024, we have Natal and Progressed Uranus align with the Progressed Midheaven (Naibod RA Progression method) from October 2023-August 2025, and MOST IMPORTANTLY we have Progressed Jupiter station Direct July 2025- ending a 120 years Retrograde journey and ending it in style by cojoining the Fixed Star Sirius and trining the Progressed Sun. Add to this picture the background of Progressed Pluto at the Karmic Completion Degree of 29 Capricorn from 2023-2050 until he moves into 0 Aquarius in July 2050- and we can see that the USA is in the midst of profound transformation, death and rebirth (read more about Pluto at 29 Capricorn in my USA Pluto Return article here- https://divineharmony.com/astrology-blog/usa-pluto-return-transformation-of-a-nation-2022/).
In short, we need to choose wisely whoever we elect to take us into this profound portal of Astrology. They could be the long awaited Savior or the much feared Devil. But I would venture to say that our own collective disowned shadow and repressed emotions will inform what we see and what we choose. Someone once said ‘a country gets the president it deserves’. If we can understand this from the level of consciousness it essentially means- if we want a more conscious leader we all need to up level our own consciousness. The more work we do with our own shadows and emotions- the more integration we achieve and the less projection onto others we will have to do. Integration leads us beyond black and white, good and evil- and finds the place that can bridge the divide. This is Inner Work but also something that needs to happen politically if we are to save not just our country but also humanity. Do I sound dramatic? Take a look around at the state of the world with wars, environmental catastrophes and the health of the people – we are not in a good place as a humanity. Something must change!
Let’s take a look at each of the astrological events for the United States of America mentioned above in more detail…
The Progressed New Moon is on March 24th 2024 during the lead up to the November Election. The Sun/Moon conjunction is at 19’26 Pisces and is conjunct the Wisdom Goddess Pallas Athena at 16’14 Pisces. The Progressed New Moon is opposite Progressed Neptune and triggers the Mars/Neptune square in the USA Chart. Are we ready, as a nation, to take off the rose-colored glasses of denial and start seeing the Truth of ourselves, our country and our interactions with the world around us? The Highest Ideals of Pisces could be realized if we choose a leader with deep compassion and empathy- someone who wants to be a Leader simply to SERVE and honestly a leader who can side table their ego (Pisces is great at that). The Shadow of this Progressed Lunation- particularly opposing Neptune- is we could choose from our collective fear and/or our collective illusion. Obviously the second option won’t lead us to the fulfillment of our Highest Potential as a Nation.
This New Moon is trine Retrograde but heading into Standstill Jupiter who is aligned with Sirius. Sirius is the Spiritual Sun of our sun and is deeply embedded in the mythology of a lot of ancient mystical cultures. The USA’s Sun is conjunct Sirius so we are Sirius Nation. Jupiter stations direct on July 23, 2025- in the first year of the new Presidential term.
Jupiter went Retrograde in 1905 when President Roosevelt was in office. He believed the public interest was of greater importance than the wealthiest businesses – and he was very concerned about the growth of Big Business, Wall Street’s influence and financial take overs by large companies. He went up against the most powerful financier in business- JP Morgan. He sued his corporation to halt the monopolization of western railways. The case went all the way to the Supreme Court and he won! Roosevelt gained a reputation as a trust buster and trust regulator. He believed the President should act on the behalf of the American People in terms of the entire national interest. Progressed Jupiter stationed Retrograde during the end of his 1st term – stationing Retrograde at 25’14 Cancer and opposing Progressed Pluto at 26’15 Capricorn and squaring Progressed Saturn at 27’12 Libra. There was a massive T square between standstill Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto at the time- which showed the opposition from the Powers that Be that he was up against. Also connected to this Astrology, In 1913 – once the Retrograde picked up speed- the Federal Reserve was created after the Wall Street Panic of 1907.
In the Sibley Chart for the USA we have Sagittarius Rising. Jupiter is our Chart Ruler- and the stations and Star alignments of Jupiter will have a profound effect on our country. As Jupiter stations he does so trine both the Progressed Sun and Pallas- activating the Seed Potential of the New Moon that occurred in March 2024. A planet stationing direct stops going backwards or forwards and actually becomes the MOST POWERFUL PLANET in the chart. As Michael Lutin says, “the slowest planet wins”. A standstill planet is the slowest planet and it has immense power and magnification. When that Standstill Planet is Jupiter the Greater Benefic and transmitter of Great Light conjunct a fixed Star seen as the Spiritual Sun of our sun- we can see that some VERY PROFOUND Astrological shifts are incoming for the USA!!!
At best we can elect someone who serves these Higher Principles- Jupiter in Cancer symbolizes the Great Mother who cares for all. Sirius gives Light to our Spirits- the way our sun gives light to the planet. We need a president who can speak to our Spirits- beyond religious preference, race, gender orientation, age or whatever else gets used to divide us. We need a President who can bring us back into Harmony and Unity Consciousness- and it will have to be someone who can BRIDGE THE DIVIDE. I sometimes envision a new political party that is not Red or Blue but is the VIOLET RAY PARTY (Red and Blue mixed create Purple). The Violet Ray is associated with the Crown Chakra and Gateway to Spirit. Imagine a grounded, embodied political party that is being led by Spirit. They have my vote! (I now hope someone starts a Violet Ray political party lol)
Last but most certainly NOT least- we have an alignment of our Natal and Progressed Uranus with our Progressed Midheaven (Naibod RA Method). October 12th, 2023 we have Progressed Uranus conjunct Progressed Midheaven and on August 17th, 2025 we have Progressed Midheaven conjunct Natal Uranus. As my fellow astrologer and friend Gary Caton pointed out to me- the USA was born with the Nodes of Uranus aligned with the Ascendant and Descendent. We have an Aquarius South Node trine ruler Uranus and a natal Moon in Uranus ruled Aquarius to boot! We are a VERY URANIAN NATION. We have the potential and I would dare say DESTINY to lead humanity into the Age of Aquarius- but we have to dig our heads out of the sand so we can see what is going on in our own country first and we need to take back our power from corporations and big businesses who have politicians in their pockets. Uranus on the Midheaven is about MASSIVE CHANGE. This can be Revolution of the People and by the People (Uranus rules the Moon which represents the people). But it could also be complete chaos and destabilization if we choose the wrong person to represent the USA. Keep in mind we are also heading to our Uranus Return in 2027-2028 with Uranus crossing our Descendant and opposing our Ascendant 2028-2029. Change IS coming- it’s not so much about IF it’s coming but more about HOW and WHAT and WHO (the WHEN is determined by the Astrology).
With Jupiter stationing Direct in particular, I feel profound potential to take back our country and I honestly wonder if the reincarnation of Teddy Roosevelt (or someone carrying his Soul essence or connected to his DNA line) may come forward to lead us out of the Underworld and back into the Light. On the Inauguration date of January 20th 2025 we have the Sun conjunct Pluto at 1-2 Aquarius- if that is not a kick off to both a new chapter in the United States as well as a new chapter in the unfolding of the Age of Aquarius, I don’t know what is.
I want to add in one more thing that I did not have in my original article but am adding on the morning of April 7th- on April 8th, 2024 we have a major Total Solar Eclipse that goes across the United States. It is being heralded as similar to the Great American Eclipse of 2017. It will sweep from Texas all the way up to Maine. What is striking to me in the Solar Eclipse chart is that the Sun/Moon conjunction at 19’24 Aries are EXACTLY CONJUNCT transiting Chiron also at 19’24 Aries. The United States Chiron is at 20’08 Chiron so this major Eclipse activates our Chiron Return with the first of 3 transits happening less than two weeks later on April 20th. the 3rd and final one occurs on February 18th, 2025- in the new presidential term.
Chiron is the Wounded Healer so again we get this symbolism of electing either a Great Healer or a deeply wounded person. This also points to the need for the United States of America to heal its wounds and shadow around the masculine principle. The shadow of the toxic masculine- dominate, control, kill, rape, win- is projected all over the myths of the heavens. There used to be older myths that showed balance of masculine/feminine principles- with the feminine being the one who receives inspiration from the Divine and births the Divine Child and the masculine being the Sacred Protector and Defender of the Divine Feminine and her Divine Child. We need to access that older masculine archetype that protects and defends innocence, purity and Truth once again. With Chiron in Aries we look to the ruler of Aries who is Mars. Our natal Mars is square Neptune- arguably one of our most intense Natal Chart aspects. With Mars square Neptune we don’t always see our own aggression or shadow- and with Mars in the 7th it is instead seen in others. The 7th house is the house of Others but also the house of projection. The USA gets a Chiron Return every 50 years or so- but this one is majorly amplified by a Great American Solar Eclipse that is PRECISELY conjunct Chiron. And it is happening in the lead up to the presidential race and completes when the next presidential term commences. How’s that for symbolism!?!
Let us call in a Leader who can truly lead our nation- back to our hearts, back to our Spirits, back to honoring our bodies, our health, our planet and environment. We need someone radical who can turn this ship around and we needed them yesterday.
I call in the HIGHEST and visualize our future leader and our great nation wrapped in the Divine Love and Divine Protection of the Great Mother. Abraham Lincoln once said “My dream is of a place and a time where America will once again be seen as the last best hope of Earth”. With this Astrology I believe that is possible.

PHASE 350 (PISCES 20°): A TABLE SET FOR AN EVENING MEAL.
KEYNOTE: An indication that in the end and at the appointed time the individual’s needs will be met among those to whom he is linked by a spiritual (or biological) web of energies.
The significant element in this scene is not only the meal, but the fact that it is an “evening” meal. To use traditional symbolism, after a long chain of personal existences the Soul returns to its spiritual home at the close of the day-of-manifestation. There it finds that which renews and amply sustains; the happiness of the “beyond of existence” is experienced — if all has gone well.
This last symbol of the seventieth five-fold sequence promises a satisfying or fulfilling end to whatever one has been undertaking. As the life closes, the Soul-consciousness finds NOURISHMENT in the harvest of whatever, during the whole life, has been relevant to the archetypal purpose and destiny of the Soul — one of the myriad of aspects of the divine creative word which began the cycle.

PHASE 68 (GEMINI 8°): AROUSED STRIKERS SURROUND A FACTORY.
KEYNOTE: The disruptive power of the ambitious mind upon the organic wholeness of human relationship.
We are dealing in this sequence of symbols with man’s discovery of the new powers residing in his special contribution to the total organism of this planet Earth — his consciousness and aggressive mind. The first stage (Phase 66) dealt with oil, the typical form of energy which the modern mind has made available. (These symbols were revealed before atomic energy was even thought of as a practical possibility.) Now we see in this new symbol a pictorial indication of what the use of this intellect-generated energy inevitably leads to: industrial unrest and violence. As man manages to rape the earth in order to demonstrate his power and intensify his pleasures and his sense of proud mastery, conflicts and disruptive processes are inevitably initiated.
The arousal is presented to us here in its collective social form because we have reached the emotional-cultural level. The type of power generated by the analytical intellectual faculties is essentially disruptive; it is based on the destruction of matter, and invites egocentric hoarding and spoliation — and, in general, privileges of one kind or another. This leads to a REVOLT AGAINST PRIVILEGES.
PHASE 69 (GEMINI 9°): A QUIVER FILLED WITH ARROWS.
KEYNOTE: Man’s aggressive relationship to natural life, as a basis for survival and conquest.
The bow and arrows represent symbolically man’s ability to extend the scope of his conquest of nature and to kill enemies in order to build a larger base for the collective development of a culture and an organized society. Implied in the symbol of the arrow is the piercing of a target. The mind of man is essentially a trans-piercing power; it goes through the object toward which it is aimed. It seeks to go through and beyond the obstacles on its path, and this usually implies the destruction of the obstacle. At a higher level — as in the Zen practice of archery — the obstacle is the ego.
At this fourth stage of the fourteenth five-fold sequence of phases in the cyclic process of human existence we are shown the archetypal symbol of Man, the Conqueror. It may be a conquest of outer nature, or that of instinctual drives and of the limiting power of the ego. It is always CONQUEST.

PHASE 106 (CANCER 16°): A MAN STUDYING A MANDALA IN FRONT OF HIM, WITH THE HELP OF A VERY ANCIENT BOOK.
KEYNOTE: A deep concern with problems raised by the process of personality integration.
After a person decides to follow a certain course of action, accepting a new allegiance, the results of this decision at the three basic levels of human experience (actional, emotional-cultural and individual-mental) have to be stabilized and consolidated.
This is what is meant by the process of personality integration. In Asia the great symbol of this process is the Mandala; in the Christian world we find, in various forms, the symbol of the Cross. The Christian design is often simple and bare; it is its reference to the crucifixion of a God-man that personalizes or emotionalizes it. The Oriental Mandala can take an infinite variety of forms and can encompass a vast multiplicity of contents; it is psychological and cosmic. The square – the foundation of the Mandala – potentially encloses diverse contents. The Cross, on the other hand, represents conflict in action; it is a symbol of tragic overcoming. The Mandala symbolizes integration of opposing trends and multiple bipolar energies.
This is the first stage of the twenty-second five-fold sequence. It reveals a deep effort on the part of the individualized consciousness to reach a solid basis of understanding that will allow it to perceive the structural relationship of every part of the personality to every other part. It is a mental process implying study and an inward-turning of the attention, CONCENTRATION; even more it is a symbol of what might at first be called CONFORMATION — that is, a profound and stabilizing sense of form, but of one’s own individual form, not an external socio-cultural pattern.

NEW MOON DEGREE
Pisces 20 A perfect black cube sits alone in the desert
Concentrating purposively within the core. Giving no energy whatsoever to the rest of life. But upon the task, the assignments, what is given to fulfill. Sparing no part of consciousness for anything else.
Ruthlessly intent upon pursuing what is intended in a total way. No flexibility, no fluency, no ease. Just the barest essentials, penetrated into with this fierce clarity of being that knows something else and will only intensify its quest and its striving under any and all conditions.
The hyper-specialized emphasis upon making something manifest in this world that would not be here otherwise. Monolithic faculties of putting everything on the line. Stupendous capacity for results, for doing what this frequency sets out to do.
Suffering from a lack of self-compassion, an absence of life’s graces. Given quite a deep shadow of gnawing hunger for everything denied and pushed away. Definitely forged underneath into a certain rebellion against and reaction toward the severe methods and modes of the one in charge.
Yet primarily geared for the practical and the earth-intensive gathering of all faculties for optimal effect and productivity. Brilliant in commanding as well whatever resources are needed, from any and every sphere that is most relevant and compelling. Set to the job, nothing else matters really.
The one out there all alone at their earthly outpost, asked to gather information and to stay in tune with any and every level of what is coming forth inside the collective at any time. The one who is left out there to dry-somebody’s gotta do it.
An exquisite grasp of what is here, where it takes us, and what we must do to fulfill the design. An amoral sensibility. The ends justify the means. What counts in the end is to know that you’ve done it, that the impossible was perfectly carried through.
URANUS DEGREES

An overfull palate of soul impressions and spirit impulses. Being drawn in every direction at once always. Feeling connected indiscriminately with any and all things. Being able to find inside the self, a resonance, an understanding, an empathy for whatever arises, no matter how much or many it becomes.
Being pure microcosm of the universal path. Representing the whole splendidly. Yet over-stimulated by what happens when you can become any and all ways and no particular direction means anything more than any other.
A rare opportunity to discover all of everything rather than some of something. A chance to tap what everybody has in common. A pervasive attunement to the common chord and where it wants to lead.
A certain responsibility. When you are in touch with the complete circle, all-at-once, you are asked to reflect it to itself with affirmation, appreciation, acknowledgment and accuracy. It is usually the accuracy requirement which takes charge.
This desire and impulse to stay tuned to all that truly is in the midst of every semblance and passing phenomenon. The inspiration to be a vehicle through which all of life knows itself and freely becomes what it is meant to be.
A wild ride to infinity and back. So many experiences. So much to learn. The contribution of the one who is familiar with, knowledgeable about, endlessly experienced in how it is around here.
The citizen of the boundless world. The partaker in the mystery of the expanding universe. The future opens and something arises which shows that anything and everything can happen if you stay with it long enough.

When one cycle is over, another cycle can begin. As soon as we have remembered, we are onto something the previous patterns passed right over. What seemed almost trivial, decorative around the edges, now takes on the central prominence. We are divested of what had seemed to be our life. And now everything can begin.
Yet it’s not so neat and simple after all. It takes a tremendous burst of new life to overthrow the old forms and structures. And once we make way for that kind of wild momentum, it will tend to take charge completely, and before you know it, nothing is as it once was, all facets of self and world are completely up for grabs.
The sensation of cracking through into this permission for new worlds to be is more than intoxicating. It is a flooding, a rapture. We cannot contain it, control it, harness it. We are meant to become its seed bearer. And this may turn out to be a very tall order.
For everywhere we go, everything we do is radical, is transformative, is profoundly unsettling and provocative. We cannot stop stirring up the shared currents and making our whole world ripple with what we are experiencing. For we know it’s not ours, we know we must let it rip through freely.
There are so many ways we can cover this up. There are so many cycles we can tap to escape from the velocity of perpetual change. There are so many tasks we can take on, to turn this into more of a surfacey charm and a fascination with special effects.
But we are pursuing our own selves through the maze of time. The ecstatic one must be born. The conditional distancer has had their time.
JUPITER STATION DEGREE

Consciousness saturated with akashic remembrances. A center of power and knowledge and strength. Knowing from way back, certain facets of existence generally assumed to be mysterious.
Concentrated within a fierce mental power which takes all of life into its own hands. This force is buildable in divergent directions. When there is high pure intent and an intact heart, the brilliant mentality serves a greater power and does not lose itself in its own coils. But if there is a slippage into seeing what we want to see, coloring our world with a self-righteous undercoating, there are so many place to get lost here.
This is rarely mastered. It takes myriad lessons in staying true, to resist the temptation to play this one’s own way. Rational intelligences readily come up with rationalized structures which ideologically guard the territory of becoming swept away by one’s own beliefs, assumptions, and ambitions. And truly the diversion into personal reference can go so far down that track that nobody can follow what happened or why.
When these wayward patterns are witnessed and gradually weeded out, the space opens for true remembrance. This is an advanced faculty which is especially brilliant at pulling in facets of ancient wisdom and cosmic truth which can sense in multiple ways now. The path here is strewn with many attempts to go in this direction. And it can be fulfilled, once the overwhelming emphasis upon being right gives way to a responsive enjoyment of the whole spectrum of consciousness for its own sake.
The head needs a heart in order to find its way. With heart in place, the head become the finest instrument of evolution as shared with other life forms. Such a mode of awareness is worth striving toward. If we can collaborate with greater streams, the vision will quicken and awaken and restore wondrously.
