The Full Moon at 13’18 Sagittarius is exact at 11:42pm EDT – bringing us to the midpoint of the current Lunar Cycle we are in that began with the New Moon in the last degrees of Taurus on May 19th. That New Moon was powerful as it was conjunct the Pleiades and aspected all of the Outer Planets- letting us know that some powerful celestial messages and access to Higher Wisdom, Higher Love and Higher Power are available right now.
This Full Moon is conjunct the Great Attractor- a point in Space that we are all rapidly moving towards. It is one of the Source Points connected to Greater Truth. Phillip Sedgwick has this to say some very insightful things to say about the Great Attractor- with the GA we have “to be willing to risk the factuality of our own beliefs in the interest of pure knowledge” and also that the GA “might just be a personification of the Creator” HerSelf (that last part is my addition). One thing we want to ask ourselves at the time of this Full Moon is…Are we committed to Truth over being right?
With the GA powerful configured at this Full Moon and activating one of my favorite Sabian Symbols (14 Sagittarius- the Pyramid and the Sphinx), I feel a lot of occult wisdom and spiritual Truths ready to be revealed. This can be an absolutely powerful lunation!!!
The Full Moon is in Grand Fire Trine with Mars in Leo conjunct Pallas Athena in Leo (and Mean Black Moon Lilith in Leo nearby, too), and Chiron in Aries. Grand Fire Trines are full of passion, creativity, inspiration, and an amazing current of will and agency that can be harnessed. We can create things, set things into motion, heal, and open our minds to Greater Truth!
This Full Moon is opposite the Sun conjunct Juno which forms an apex with the Grand Trine and makes it a Kite. Commitments and relationships can be in focus, but so can the commitment we have to ourselves and our life path. With Juno in Gemini we can focus on our commitment to coming back to Beginner’s Mind so that we are open minded and willing to learn the new things and see the new perspectives that the Full Moon in Sagittarius will certainly be bringing in!
There are tense aspects to the Full Moon to be aware of- notably Saturn in Pisces in a T-square with the Sun/Moon opposition. Saturn brings reality checks and tests to our vision, perspective, beliefs and version of truth. Are we really seeing everything? Do we have the rose colored glasses on? Or the wool pulled over our eyes? Where does the small mind think it is seeing everything? And where does the Higher Mind not get listened to?
The approaching Venus/Pluto opposition (exact on June 5th) is tensely aspecting both the Sun and Moon- echoing the Mars/Pluto opposition from May 20th (a day after the New Moon). This can reveal power struggles in relationships particularly over difference of values, ways of dealing with finances, needs being met and more. With Juno opposite this Full Moon and Venus in tense aspect to Pluto- relationships can certainly be a big focus. The key is to be willing to look at and deal with the Shadow – otherwise the T square from Saturn could bring some cold hard Truths to Light we did not want to see or look at.
Of course with the Grand Fire Trine- if we are willing to do the work, the healing and expansion is there for the taking!!! The key is to allow Truth to lead. The Truth can set us free – if we free to Truth to lead us instead of trying to control things from the ego ;)
Another powerful influence in the Full Moon chart is the triple conjunction of Mercury, Uranus and Vesta- the lower mind, the Higher Mind and the Priestess asteroid Goddess of focus and devotion. Again we get this image of the lower mind surrendering to the Higher Mind in a sacred and devoted way.
I wrote the following in my Weekly Forecast about the Uranus/Vesta conjunction exact on Monday May 29th:
“Uranus/Vesta is amazing for taking our Higher Mind Vision and linking it with the sacred devotion of the Priestess. With both in Taurus we can use this inspirational, spiritual energy in tangible and tactile ways. Taurus is focused on embodiment and BEING HERE NOW (as Ram Dass would to say). It is a radical act to be fully here, in this body, on this earth. As Philip Shepherd says “Inhabiting your body- reuniting with its intelligence- is one of the most potent political statements you can make.”
Vesta with Uranus in Taurus at best can be about the Sacred Devotion to Waking Up in the Body! With all the amazing Taurus Astrology happening right now (Jupiter conjunct North Node particularly) it is highly recommended to be super focused and intentional about what you are devoting yourself to right now. Vesta governs wholeness and integration- and the potential for realizing more of both on your healing path is profound right now. We can use the Higher Mind and our visionary and imaginative capacity in powerful ways right now.”
With the Pleaides New Moon and this Great Attractor Full Moon – this whole Lunar Cycle is potent. Stay open to the messages received, the new truths coming in and the places that your growth edge is taking you further than you knew you could go!

The belief in an Original Tradition based on the perfect knowledge of the archetypal principles and forms which underlie all manifestations of life on this Earth (and by extension in the cosmos) is deeply rooted in man’s consciousness. In order to function in the world of material entities man needs to focus the energies of life in a limited organism and an ego-mind that is formed by the pressures of a particular culture and family background. An effort should then be made to enter a realm of consciousness in which the communication from mind to mind can take a more direct form, because the minds then operate within the One Mind of humanity. KEYNOTE: Learning to discern what in your culture and religion is meaningful to you personally.
This symbol evokes the traditional practice, when one is in need of guidance, of opening at random a Sacred Book (for Christians, the Bible) and spontaneously placing one’s finger on a paragraph. We are parts of a cultural-religious whole, and every whole has a message for its many parts, if these are willing to submit their little wills to the great meaning and destiny of the whole. In an even broader sense, the open mind can learn to detect “signatures” in many events which he has allowed to occur. The too great reliance on repeated symbolizations can lead to a schizoid state of over-subjective dependence upon signs and omens.
This is the first stage of the eleventh five-fold sequence of symbolic phases in the general process of “Differentiation” (Act One). By relying on cultural guidance a person identifies himself with a differentiated type of collective response to a particular environment. It is a state of SUBSERVIENCE TO COLLECTIVE VALUES.

We are captured inside a world where every life form consumes every other life form. We take this as a given. And we adapt ourselves to it so greatly that we no longer sense the cues our body gives to us when we are in danger, when we have gone too far, when we are swept away by plans and ideas and lost to this world.
Then we need extreme impact to reach us and turn us around. Preferably, some archetypal cycle of experience which matches the collective frequencies of having gone too far with our own variation on the same theme. We need to get it all at once that it’s happening everywhere, and right here, and something has to shift fast or else we will be goners.
The funny part is that as soon as we show up for this level of confronting reality, it entirely changes into a different story altogether. What had seemed previously to be self-evidently an attack, a terrible predicament, a lost momentum, turns right around and shows us that the gift is as bright as the outlook was bleak. And we can embrace the gift as enthusiastically as we adapted to the blight.
Then we crack through to a different reality than any we have known before, in any world. This is a stunner. All the chaos is outside, all the turbulence cannot reach through to us. Instead, we are in the eye of the storm and we are cooking up a different world to be in.
Our great challenge will be to empower that radical impulse unconditionally. Then we can discover that we have an answer, a creative response to what seemed to be just impossible. For we know that if we say Yes inside the great No, structures topple, light returns.

Working very hard to generate something new. Being assigned the task of doing everything required in order to make innovations, discoveries, and breakthroughs possible. A way of life dedicated to becoming the vehicle for invisible forces to work their magic through, for better or for worse.
An exceedingly amoral way of approaching these matters. Coming from pure empirical levels. Only believing and following what shows up. Perhaps even tuned out altogether to whatever can’t be used, can’t be turned to good account.
Wildly excited about the prospects of the latest discovery or project. Awake to all the implications and reverberations. Tending strongly to identify within and lose the self inside of the enthusiasms, the currents which take charge.
Talented beyond any boundaries in directions which can be abused, can be offered up, can be exploited endlessly. Raw material for making something happen here. The combination of intelligence and practical stuff to generate awareness’ that really might go anywhere and want to go everywhere that the spark flies.
Most especially granted a knack for putting the final touches on multiple factors coming together. The completion of old business and venturing into areas previously untouched. The movement from worlds of old or worlds emerging on a whole different horizon.
The somewhat overwhelming responsibility to wield effectively and ethically that which is inherently lawless and defiant of any and all imposed standards. Yet the objective is to bring forth something that is high frequency, that really means something. And to make that possible requires a whole lot of fast growth and evolvement and maturing.

When the inside path lights up and calls, the soul is fortunate and truly blessed. It is that point where the greater truth becomes the radiant center of existence. So much falls away. Other things arise which are now of great import, for they are part of the infinite journey.
We live inside the world in our spacious practices of making way for that which is beyond experience or metaphor. We simply cannot stand away from the awareness that we are chosen, we are tapped, we are meant to follow the inner light and not deviate from wherever it calls us, from now into forever.
As we become adept in these hidden lost arts, we are then assigned to go forth into the outer world to serve in ways which often seem far removed from this inward dimension of our lives. Yet what we encounter as we bow before the wisdom of the path which opens us into the world is everything we could ever need, in terms of being able to see through the apparent drama into the soul and it’s essence. Each one becomes the harbinger of truth, every situation lights up with something far beyond what seems to be going on.
Whether outside or inside, active or contemplative, multiple or singular, the adept of the Mysteries is focused upon enhancing what is here, unfolding what is inherent, respecting what requires spacious beholding for it to show it’s true colors. The great art is to not be noticed, not seem to be doing anything, but rather to spark everything around us to potentiate, to emerge, to acknowledge the gift.
This is a subtle discerning path. It is consciousness crafted from the finest materials. It is so carefully put together, so that it can represent faithfully the ways of earth existence when Creative Intelligence is working it’s delicate special magic.
Almost everything that happens is symbol, is synchronicity, is portal to something which would not arise without that opening. When awareness is schooled in this fashion, it only has one job to do. The task is to cut through illusion and fashion a vessel for truth. To do this quintessentially is to be inside the Mysteries, at home in the world.
