Monday April 29th-
At 12:31am Mars cojoins Neptune at 28’52 Pisces- aligning the Warrior, Will and Drive with the Planet of Mysticism, Spirituality, denial and delusion. Mars/Neptune is great for creativity, spirituality, romance, and having faith in life! Yet the shadow side is these two can make us more delusional, easily deceived and/or deceptive in nature. Seeing what we want to see cannot be at the expense of seeing and dealing with reality. Ultimately we must find the middle point where both can coexist without one dominating at the expense of the other. We also want to watch out for passive aggression, subtle manipulation, dishonesty, addictions and generally not wanting to be direct, above board or dealing with life (coming from ourselves OR coming from others). Use this astrology to dive deep into the waters of the Unconscious and pay attention to your dreams for messages from the Unconscious <3 This astrology is excellent for surrendering the ego to something Higher- you just want to make sure you stay grounded and in touch with reality so that what you tap into can come all the way down and into manifestation (and not stay floating up in the ethers!).
Venus moves out of Aries and into Taurus at 7:31am- moving from Mars rulership to her own Sign of rulership where she is much more comfortable! This shifts the Goddess from Yang to Yin, assertive to receptive, independent to interconnected and relational! The coming weeks of Venus in Taurus are a time to enjoy the sensual, physical world. Venus in Taurus oozes abundance, sensuality, softness, pleasure and connection. It’s a great time to find more stability, solidity and security both financially and relationally. Just watch out for the shadow side of Venus in Taurus: being too self indulgent, entitled, lazy and resistant to change.
Tuesday April 30th-
At 11:33am Mars moves out of Pisces and into Aries- shifting the Will, Warrior and Drive from Water to Fire, Yin to Yang, Omega to Alpha. Mars rules Aries and is VERY happy being in this Sign. Where Mars in Pisces had a hard time asserting himself and taking a stand (or did it in back-handed, passive aggressive or manipulative ways)- Mars in Aries is anything but. Our will, drive and action-oriented energy is HIGH right now. Mars in Aries is great for taking initiative, taking risks and making things happen. Yet we do need to be aware of the shadow side of Mars in Aries: aggression, unskillfully expressed anger, impulsivity, reactivity and selfishness. If we act without thinking we will pay the consequences! Right use of power, will, drive and anger is key. Righteous anger and sacred rage can transform the world. Reactive anger and violent rage can destroy it. Think and act wisely. We are entering into a high energy time where impulsivity and anger can cost us- while skillful action and initiative can help us make the changes we know we need to make personally and collectively.
At 3:04pm Venus in Taurus semisquares Saturn in Pisces- creating tension and friction between the Goddess of Love and Beauty and the Lord of Karma and Father of Time. Venus/Saturn can be heavy, depressing or limiting in Love and money situations. Reality checks are coming in and we are being asked to take off the rose colored glasses and see reality as it is on its own terms. Venus/Saturn shows you what is enduring and what is not. Tendencies to overindulge or check out when it comes to relationships and finances are being brought into awareness right now. Being grounded and masterful is key.
Wednesday May 1st-
At 12:30am Venus at 2’06 Taurus squares Standstill set to go Retrograde Pluto at 2’06 Aquarius- creating tension between the Goddess of Love and Beauty and the Lord of the Underworld. With Pluto at standstill this aspect is MASSIVELY AMPLIFIED in powerful and perhaps intense ways. Venus is in rulership in Taurus- well placed and sensual, embodied and earthy. Shadow Venus in Taurus in entitled, overindulgent and resists change. Pluto in Aquarius is exposing shadow in friendships, social circles, community connections, group mind, AI and technology and more. This can definitely exacerbate power struggles with women, in friendships, around money and more. This astrology energizes the Full Moon square Pluto form last week (you can read about that here- https://divineharmony.com/lunar-insight/full-moon-in-scorpio-power-under-or-power-over-vs-power-within-4-23-24/). We had the Sun in Taurus square Pluto on 4/21 and the Full Moon in Scorpio square Pluto 4/23- and today’s astrology into tomorrow’s Pluto station energizes it all. So think back to what you were dealing with back then- what shadow was coming to Light, what power struggles were occurring, where was the right balance of holding on and letting go (Taurus vs Scorpio), standing up for things and surrendering (Pluto governing power dynamics) coming in?
To navigate the terrain right now it is key to be willing to DIVE DEEPER. If there are any power struggles happening look to see what is getting triggered from childhood around power. As my shadow work teacher Robert says ‘Everything can be used for healing and awakening’- even the crappy situations. Our relationship with power can evolve when we learn to move away from dominance and submission, power over and power under, victim and tyrant. This does not mean just surrendering when you need to stand up for yourself. It also does not mean only fighting and being combative when you need to surrender. It means becoming crystal clear about what is needed in any moment- like the High Priestess who sits between the black and white pillars of severity/judgement and mercy/Love. When you can access both/and the mist can clear and knowing what actions to take for your own health, well being and integrity become clear. Being moved from this deep space within- rather than from reactivity or impulsivity, or from shame converted into anger and rage- is key.
Thursday May 2nd-
At 1:47pm Pluto stations Retrograde at 2’06 Aquarius- bringing the Lord of the Underworld to a standstill as he heads deeper into the Underworld ;) Last year on March 23rd 2023, Pluto entered into Aquarius for the first time since exiting Aquarius in December of 1798. This commenced his 20 year journey through this Transpersonal Sign of community and technology. Last year only *dipped* into Aquarius last year as he barely moved through less than 1/2 of the first degree of this sign. This year he entered into Aquarius again on January 20th 2024- making his way all the way into the start of the 2nd degree of Aquarius before stationing Retrograde. Last year and this year he is transiting the Karmic Completion Degree of 29 Capricorn before his final exit from Capricorn for good on November 19, 2024.
We have all been given a taste of what Pluto in Aquarius is bringing both last year and this year. From the AI art and chat GTP explosions, to the 2024 presidential election brewing with very Uranian/Aquarian people coming onto the scene (spiritual teacher Marianne Williamson who has dropped out of the race, and environmental activist Bobby Kennedy Jr).
But we also can see the Karmic Completion degree of 29 Capricorn playing out in the Middle East conflict that erupted in October of 2023 when Mars triggered Pluto in the last degrees of Capricorn- as well as the China/Taiwan conflict building while the Russia/Ukraine one is still on-going. These conflicts are all deeply connected to the Patriarchal Paradigm of Capricorn that keeps us in forever wars acting out the Karma of the Father Line. There is a lot to pay attention to right now.
With Pluto at standstill he is the most powerful planet in the sky- so paying attention to themes that are up collectively can provide insight into the coming 20 year transit of Pluto through Aquarius! Of course you also want to pay attention to where this station is happening in your natal chart (by house and aspect)- for personal insight incoming. As I mentioned in the Full Moon blog from last week Pluto stations Retrograde conjunct the fixed Star Altair which is at 2’07 Aquarius- one minute from exact!!! This is a star in Aquila- modernly seen as a Bald Eagle but anciently was either a Golden Eagle (it has a star describing the bird’s head as dark not white) or even more anciently a Vulture. Conventionally Altair is seen as a star of being bold and exploring. The deeper meaning in this constellation links it with Liberty, Justice and Equality (all things the United States of America is said to stand for). But with Pluto stationing Retrograde the shadow of these themes can be arising. Is Liberty, Justice and Equality just for one person or one country in a conflict? Or do all people/countries deserve it? What does Liberty, Justice and Equality even mean? The nature of ego dynamics in people and in countries- is that they are seeing it only from their own position. Everyone wants their needs or demands taken into account- but often they are not willing to extend that same right to others.

Friday May 3rd-
At 5:06am Mars in Aries sextiles Retrograde Pluto in Aquarius- linking the Will and Warrior with the Lord of the Underworld. Mars is the lower will and Pluto is the Higher Will and when the two are harmoniously linked together we have a potent combination unfolding! If the lower will can surrender to the Higher Will this kind of astrology can help us MOVE MOUNTAINS. A lot of power and potency can be tapped and use to take action and make things happen in life. This is great astrology for taking action (Mars in Aries) in groups or communities (Pluto in Aquarius) in powerful ways that activate the collective consciousness in a group. The key with this is to make sure the collective consciousness is coming from the Higher Self, not the lower egoic self. Even those this is a harmonious aspect- be aware that Mars in Aries can be impulsive and reactive and setting things into motion right now without thinking or pausing and counting to 10 can backfire. Balance is key.
The Sun in Taurus semisquares Neptune in Pisces at 7:51pm- creating tension between the Conscious Self and ego and the Planet that dissolves ego boundaries. Sun/Neptune can be dreamy, magical, idealistic, spiritual and compassionate. But Neptune can also wear down the boundaries of Self and make one too wide open or too out to lunch to see or deal with reality. Being aware of tendencies to check out, escape, be in denial, be dishonest (with self or others) or otherwise spiritually bypass is key. Finding balance between physical and material reality (Sun in Taurus) and emotions, ideals, and/or fantasies (Neptune in Pisces) so that one foot is in both worlds is key.
Saturday May 4th-
The Sun in Taurus quincunxes the Mean South Node in Libra 2:44am- creating tension between the Conscious Self and Ego and the Karmic South Node. Both the Sun and the South Node are in Venus-ruled signs and we need to be aware of overindulgence, over people pleasing or maintaining appearances at any cost. Taurus loves sensuality and indulgence and Libra loves to sweep things under the carpet- so putting the two together we may find ourselves using things or people as a means to escape. As this occurs in the early morning hours, pay attention to your dreams upon waking for messages from the Unconscious about what is karmic and needs resolution right now!
At 4:51pm Jupiter in Taurus semisextiles Eris in Aries- linking the Planet of Expansion and Abundance with the Goddess of Discord, Chaos and Activism. Jupiter magnifies what he touches and this is the ‘Crescent Moon Phase’ of the Jupiter/Eris cycle that began when these two were conjunct back in April of 2023 (so think back to then and what was seeded and connect the dots to today to see the great story arc unfolding). Jupiter in Taurus brings expansion and opportunity via material reality, financial abundance, physicality, embodiment and earthy practical resources. Eris has been in Aries since 1922 and will be until she starts her ingress into Taurus in 2044- so she is pulling back the veil on the realms of the War God. Aries governs anger and rage but also agency and power. Eris exposes what is in the shadow by pulling back the veil to reveal what no one is looking. A very practical interpretation of this transit is the massive expansion of money (Jupiter in Taurus) that comes through creating discord, chaos and war in the world (Eris in Aries). War serves the war machines and until the power of the people (Eris in Aries) is fully claimed- this story will keep on playing out on earth ad nausea. Luckily more people are waking up to this and demanding change. At its Jupiter in Taurus is about aligning with our values and Eris provides the disruption to old patriarchal systems of power, control and dominances that breathing their last dying breath. Use the astrology wisely!
The Solar Gate of Beltane is exact today at 8:10pm EDT – with the precise alignment of the Sun transiting 15’00 Taurus. This Solar Gateway initiates us into the season of fertility and passion! This is a time for the renewal and celebration of life. This is the Gate of Union- a time of sacred marriage within and without. We see spring has fully sprung all over the earth! For those in the Southern Hemisphere it is the Solar Gate of Samhain. The Calendar versions of these dates run from April 30th to May 1st- but the Solar version aligns with precise alignments of the Sun. Lunar Beltane was at the Full Moon in Scorpio on April 23rd- so the Lunar/Solar Gateway ran from then until today making this entire time ‘the Beltane Portal’.

Sunday May 5th-
At 11:17pm Pluto contraparallels Hygeia- aligning the Lord of the Underworld with the Goddess of Healing and Wholeness. On April 2nd we had Pluto sextile Hygeia and today we have them contraparallel (an energetic opposition by declination)- forming a Super Aspect between these two that has unfolded over the last month or so.
Pluto/Hygeia links the Planet of Transformation and Evolution with the Goddess of Healing and Wholeness which can be amazing for embarking on (or deepening into) profoundly transformative healing journeys- of the body, the mind, the emotions and the Spirit. Diving Deep to get to the bottom things for healing and integration is key. Anything that helps you get to the bottom of things (therapy, shadow work, shamanic work) and/or detox and cleanse (detox diets, juice cleanses, colonics) can be profoundly supportive right now.
Keep in mind though that many of the healing deities help us heal by bringing up all that is unhealed and unwhole first. Healing is not like finding a magic wand and poof wounds and pain disappears. Healing involves being present to pain and wounds, diving deeper into and through them so we can get to the root of matters and heal at the Source. Often our healing does not involve things ever ‘going away’ but involves us shifting our relationship to our wounding and pain so that we are no long taken over by it/fused with it but also not running away from it/denying it. When we can separate out just enough to see our wounds and pain without disassociating we can find our true path of Healing open up in profound ways.
The current Pluto/Hygeia cycle we are in began with the Pluto/Hygeia conjunction on March 3, 2023 when the two cojoined at 29’33 Capricorn! As that Karmic Completion Degree is up BIG TIME last year and this year as Pluto transits it- this cycle of unearthing the shadow and healing around patriarchal consciousness is really being activated in even deeper ways. The next Pluto/Hygeia cycle is seeded in January 2029 in Aquarius- so from now until then the focus of purging and healing is related to 29 Capricorn. I will have a lot more to say on this in my forthcoming blog on Pluto transiting the Karmic Completion Degree of 29 Capricorn so stay tuned.
