monday may 1st-
at 4:07am retrograde mercury in taurus semisquares neptune in pisces- creating tension between the mind and intellect and the Higher Heart. mercury/neptune can be great for spirituality, intuition, creativity and compassion- but the tense nature of the aspect can create a schism between the linear logical mind and the part of us that confuses intuition with fear or fantasy. we want to reality check our thoughts and feelings right now and see what might be motivating them from behind the scenes. due to mercury’s retrograde journey this aspect occurred the first time on 4/11 – so think back to then to see deeper layers to what is arising right now. from today through wednesday (5/1-3) we have the sun/mercury conjunction triggering the venus/neptune square. with the sun and mercury in venus ruled taurus- the venus/neptune square is intimately connected things right now. information, realizations and communications incoming can demand we get real, take off the rose colored glasses and stop seeing what we want to see but instead see the Truth- within and without.
at 1:08pm pluto stations retrograde at 0’21 aquarius, bringing the Lord of the Underworld to a standstill as he heads deeper into the Underworld ;) pluto just entered into aquarius for the first time in over 250 something years on march 23rd- commencing his 20 year journey through this transpersonal sign of community and technology. he only *dips* into aquarius this year as he barely moved through less than 1/2 of the first degree of this sign- and he will eventually make his way back to the karmic completion degree of 29 capricorn in june. he does not officially move into aquarius for good until the end of 2024. and yet we have all been given a taste of what is to come with pluto in aquarius! from the AI art and chat GTP explosions, to the 2024 presidential election brewing with very uranian/aquarian people coming onto the scene (spiritual teacher marianne williamson, environmental activist bobby kennedy jr) and the china/taiwan conflict building while the russia/ukraine one is still on-going. there is a lot to pay attention to right now. with pluto at standstill he is the most powerful planet in the sky- so paying attention to themes that are up collectively as he standstill at the 1st degree of aquarius can provide insight into the coming 20 year transit! of course also pay attention to where this station is happening in your natal chart (by house and aspect)- for personal insight incoming. you can tune into yearly, lunar monthly and weekly horoscopes for a head’s up on this.
at 7:28pm the sun cojoins retrograde mercury at 11’19 taurus- marking the midway point of the current lunar cycle we are in that began when mercury stationed retrograde on april 21st. sun/mercury often coincides with important information, realizations and aha moments incoming that help connect the dots about what we are in the midst of rethinking, reviewing, revising and/or dealing with from the past. as this conjunction is in taurus pay attention to themes related to money, values, the environment, material resources and self-Love. aha moments incoming are important for getting clear on what needs tending to!

tuesday may 2nd-
at 12:50am juno moves out of taurus and into gemini- shifting the asteroid Goddess of partnership and marriage from earth to air, body to mind, stability to movement. juno in gemini values communication, freedom and fun in partnership. this is a great time to commit to our own learning and growth and to keep an open mind in all relationships. just watch out for the shadow of juno in gemini- being non-committal as a means to avoid deeper intimacy, staying on the surface and avoiding the depths or shadows, and/or refusing to grow up and instead choosing to be the puer/puella eternus (eternal child) forever!
the sun in taurus semisquares neptune in pisces at 6:24am- creating tension between the conscious self and ego and the planet that dissolves ego boundaries. sun/neptune can be dreamy, magical, idealistic, spiritual and compassionate. but neptune can also wear down the boundaries of self and make one too wide open or too out to lunch to see or deal with reality. finding balance between body (sun in embodied taurus) and spirit/soul (neptune in pisces) so that one foot is in both worlds is key. from yesterday to today we have had the sun/mercury conjunction triggering neptune- so make sure you are checking IN not checking out.
at 12:57pm pallas athena moves out of cancer and into leo- shifting the Wisdom and Warrior asteroid Goddess from water to fire, moon ruled to sun ruled, feminine to masculine. pallas in leo is fiery, radiant, expressive and passionate. she brings the Light of the Sun (sun ruled leo) into all her perceptions so she is seeing clearly. this is amazing for leadership, creativity and unabashedly shining one’s Light! just watch out for being egotistical, needing to always be right and only being capable of leading.
stationary retrograde pluto in aquarius trines juno newly in gemini at 3:38pm, aligning the Lord of the Underworld with the asteroid Goddess of partnership and marriage. pluto/juno is wonderful for diving deeper in our committed relationships and partnerships (romantic, financial, business and otherwise). with both bodies in air signs we are also supported in going deep via communication, perception and awareness in our social and relationship dynamics. with both at the 1st degree of their respective signs- something new can be coming in around partnership and commitment. juno is not just about external commitments but can also be about internal commitments. with juno in gemini our commitment to coming back to beginner’s mind and seeing things from a new vantage point are on offer!
at 4:57pm venus in gemini sextiles eris in aries- linking the Goddess of Love and Beauty with the Goddess of Discord and Chaos! this is a harmonious aspect that brings focus to positive change, embracing freedom and speaking Truth. eris likes to reveal what others are not looking at- particularly the shadow and toxicity that is hidden underneath. venus in gemini’s shadow can manifest as only focusing on the surface of things but when teamed up with eris she is willing to go deep and be fierce in seeing, living and speaking Truth! there’s a fiery energy in the air today- use it to set yourself free and embrace change!
jupiter in aries semisextiles neptune in pisces at 6:04pm- linking the two Spiritual planets in the Alpha and Omega signs! this aspect is crescent moon phase of the jupiter/neptune conjunction that occurred back in april 2022. if the conjunction is the new moon phase- this transit where jupiter is now 30 degree past neptune can start to show us what was planted as a seed back then (symbolically maybe literally) with manifestations of that intention coming forward into form. that conjunction was in pisces- which was mystical, intuitive, spiritual, and/or creative. pisces is deeply fertile but it is not about form it is about essence. jupiter in aries is all about taking action and making things happen- so jupiter supports us in taking those dreams, visions or inspirations that were seeded and bring them into some visible form. pay attention to where something you seeded is now sprouting. it is not fully formed yet but it is coming into view. it still needs to be tended to – like a seedling that has sprouted. but the gift of this transit is that you can see it there- coming into being based on your actions taken up until now. give thanks and keep going!

at 6:22am retrograde mercury in taurus semisquares venus in gemini- creating tension between the mind and the heart. mercury is in venus’s sign and venus is in mercury’s sign- they are in mutual reception which links them in harmonious ways and yet their aspect is tense. mercury wants to be embodied, grounded and intentional in taurus- while venus wants to be social, free and fun loving in gemini. put the two together positively and we are supported in finding balance between our minds and hearts, thinking and feeling. yet these two are in tense aspect so there can be disparity between our minds and hearts particularly if we tend to be too stuck in our beliefs or over focused on the material world (mercury in taurus) or too superficial and fickle (venus in gemini). balance is key.
stationary retrograde pluto in aquarius opposes pallas athena in leo at 10:30am- creating tension between the Lord of the Underworld and the Wisdom and Warrior Goddess. at best pluto/pallas helps us see deeply into the shadows and what is hidden. this can be excellent for therapy and getting to the bottom of things. yet the shadow of these two in opposition can manifest as compulsive or obsessive thinking, and power struggles with others. the shadow of pallas in leo can be expressed through narcissism and needing to be in the spotlight and/or be right. if we come from this place pluto can challenge our self-perceptions in dramatic ways! it is interesting to note that as pluto stations this week he makes aspects to many Goddess energies- trine juno in gemini, opposite pallas athena in leo and at the end of the week quincunx venus in cancer. what can be revealed right now is a deeper understanding how the feminine expresses and/or is repressed in each of us individually as well as collectively. pay attention where the deeper work of transformation and healing lies!
at 1:04pm venus contraparallels pluto – creating an aspect by declination that mirror the aspect by degree coming on sunday. this forms a Super Aspect between the Goddess of Love and Beauty and the Lord of the Underworld. intensity and shadow dynamics can arise in Love relationships, around money, in family dynamics and more. venus is in gemini right now but end of the week she will be in cancer. venus in gemini focuses on deep and intense communication but can also exacerbate power struggles. pay attention to what needs to be looked at and dealt with right now and get to it- so that the aspect on sunday does not have to pack a greater punch to get your attention!
mars in cancer sesquiquadrates saturn in pisces at 6:19pm, creating tension between the two Malefics in traditional astrology. malefic is connected to the word malevolent- and traditional astrology considered both mars and saturn to be harder energies to deal with. and yet everything has a Light and shadow. mars can be aggression and anger- but he can also help us have clear boundaries and agency in the world. saturn can be limitation, karma and depression- but he can also help us to be masterful, have integrity and show up to do the work! with both bodies in water signs emotions can be intense right now and if we repress them OR if we react in them we can find that it creates or sustains karma in our lives right now. at best we are supported in dealing with emotions, pain, fear and more. at worst we use our egos to deny them and then they get repressed in a way that will make them erupt later. mastery of the Unconscious realms and feelings are on offer right now- if we are willing to do the work!
thursday may 4th-
at 1:40pm venus in gemini squares neptune in pisces- creating tension between the fickle and changeable lower heart and the overly idealistic Higher Heart. venus/neptune can be great for romance, creativity, compassion, Unconditional Love, service and inspiration! yet these two in tense aspect can exacerbate tendencies towards illusion, delusion, deception, avoidance of reality and using romance/Love as a means to escape. with venus in gemini we want to make sure we are both speaking and listening/seeing from a place of honesty and clarity. this is a time to be willing to take the rose colored glasses off and see relationships, financial situations and our own self-worth or self-Love with clear eyes! from this place of clear seeing we are then empowered to make decision.
friday may 5th-
at 12:03am venus in gemini sextiles jupiter in aries- linking the two Benefic planets in positive ways. venus in gemini loves to communicate, explore, learn and be curious! jupiter in aries loves to start things, initiate, take action and make things happen. this is great for travel and keeping an open mind so we can learn new things that are outside of our comfort zone. it’s a great time to have fun, socialize and enjoy life!! from 5/2 to today we have had venus trigger the separating jupiter/eris conjunction that was exact on 4/23- so connect the dots with what happened then to see where the freedom and Truth telling energy is manifesting in your life!
at 11:41am retrograde mercury cojoins vesta at 9’00 taurus – linking the mind and intellect with the Priestess asteroid Goddess of focus and devotion. our minds ares supported in being devoted to the sacred and to seeing and speaking from a place of wholeness and integration. when our minds are in service to something greater the messages, information, and intuitive realizations incoming can be significant. with the conjunction in taurus we can focus our devotion towards creating abundance, aligning with our deepest values, coming from a deeper place of self-worth and self-Love, being embodied and being present to life as it is in this moment right now.
the full moon/lunar eclipse which is also lunar samhain is exact at 1:34pm EDT – and then solar beltane follows suit less than an hour later at 2:19pm EDT. this VERY POTENT Lunar Gate/Solar Gate/Eclipse Portal is exceptionally rare and amplifies the energies of Beltane MASSIVELY. this full moon is in scorpio at the Solar Samhain degree and it is a south node/karmic eclipse. it is magnifying the shadow and what we are stuck in- emotionally, in terms of giving away OR holding onto power, and more. this eclipse is opposite uranus- bringing an energy of sudden and unexpected change as well as freedom and liberation from the past! it can be a powerful eclipse for purging and releasing- but if we are holding onto things out of safety and security at the expense of growth and evolution we may get some serious wake up calls right now. for a much deeper dive i will have the Solar Gate Call up for Solar Beltane by 5/1 and the Lunar Insight on this Full Moon Eclipse will be up by 4/30 if not sooner. it’s a powerful portal of energy- use it wisely!!!

saturday may 6th-
at 11:10am chiron in aries semisquares juno in gemini, creating tension between the Wounded Healer planetoid and the asteroid Goddess of partnership and commitment. juno has been in focus earlier this week with her trine to standstill pluto and her alignment with the nodes of destiny and karma. relationships, commitments and partnerships of all kinds are in focus right now. juno in gemini reminds us that relationships are only as healthy as the lines of communication are open. juno in gemini also reminds us that we need to come back to beginner’s mind so that we are open to seeing/hearing/sharing what is honest and authentic for us in this now moment. chiron in tense aspect to juno can bring up old wounds and pain around relationships and partnerships- with a need to tend to what is arising and not just sweep it under the carpet so as to stay on the surface (shadow gemini). honest conversations that may be painful but at least they are Truthful- can serve to clarify relationships right now.
at 3:27pm ceres stations direct at 23’48 virgo- bringing the Great Mother asteroid Goddess to a standstill in the sky. we have been in an Underworld journey with ceres the Great Mother- asking us to deal with the past in regards to home, family, mothers, children, our needs, nurturing and nourishment. ceres in virgo also focuses on health, well being, service and daily life/routines that support them. one of the defining signatures of this ceres retrograde journey has been the triple oppositions to neptune- requiring that we take the rose colored glasses off and see what is going on in home, family, health, well being and more from a clear and grounded place. paying attention to the themes that are up today is key as it is providing insight into where you are being asked to be more discerning, get healthier and take off the rose colored glasses.
sunday may 7th-
at 10:25am venus moves out of gemini and into cancer- shifting the Goddess of Love and Beauty from air to water, mind to emotion, yang to yin. venus in cancer values her home, family, roots and foundations. she loves to spend time at home being cozy and she values deep emotional connections. in the coming couple of months venus in cancer reminds us to spend time with those we love and take time to honor our inner experience. venus will eventually square chiron and eris at the end of the month- which can mean changes are incoming in home, family, relationships and security. learning to Source security from within and honoring our emotions is key.
at 6:10pm venus at 0’21 cancer quincunxes retrograde pluto at 0’21 aqua, creating tension and friction between the Goddess of Love nd Beauty who just moved into emotional and intuitive cancer and the Lord of the Underworld who is retrograde and in his new home sign of community and transpersonal energy (until he moves back into capricorn in june). venus/pluto can be amazing for deep passion, transformation in relationships and intimacy. yet this is a tense aspect so there can be confrontation with cancer’s emotions and feelings and aquarius detachment and desire to come from the mind. on offer is insight into what needs to dramatically change- in our hearts, relationships, values, self-worth, in our way of relating to our emotions and more.
juno in gemini semisextiles the north node in taurus and quincunxes the south node in scorpio at 10:06pm, creating a synergy between the asteroid Goddess of partnership and marriage and the nodes of Destiny and Karma. juno harmoniously links with the north node- showing us clearly the relationships and commitments in our lives that are evolutionary and help us grow! but juno is also making a tense aspect to the karmic south node- showing us where our desire to stay on the surface and not get deep or face the shadow is keeping us stuck. we also may see what relationships are keeping us bound to old karmic patterns that are not serving us. if we can release the patterns the relationship may be able to stay and evolve. but sometimes it is the relationship that needs to be released for the pattern to clear. tuning into where you are being asked to commit more deeply to yourself and your path of evolution- and clearly seeing what is being asked of you to do so- is key.
