the new moon at 6’47 virgo is exact on friday august 30th, 2019 at 3:37am PDT. at the time of the new moon we have ALL the personal planets in virgo- the sign of the Virgin Goddess and the Embodied Divine Feminine. the spotlight is on virgo and wherever virgo lands in your chart (look at both sun sign and rising charts- you can listen to weekly horoscopes and lunar horoscopes for more information).
virgo is the sign of mind/body awareness, holistic health and healing, the work we do everyday, our organization and efficiency, and the service we provide. virgo is one half of the axis of the Priestess- the other being pisces. in the tarot card the High Priestess she sits between the black and white pillars of severity and mercy- virgo and pisces respectively. virgo the Virgin and pisces the fishes- are two signs associated with healing. virgo is physical healing while pisces is spiritual healing. both are needed for true healing and wholeness!
this new moon is conjunct all the virgo planets- within a 10 degree orb- with mars being the tightest conjunction, then venus, then mercury and juno. the Divine Lovers and juno the asteroid Goddess of partnership and commitment bring deep focus to this lunar cycle around relationships- both outer ones but also the Inner Relationship we have with our own Inner Masculine and Inner Feminine. virgo is deeply devoted to doing the work- and this is a time to see what work we are being asked to do to elevate the way we do relationship.
some say this is a black moon- but in the astrological sense that is not accurate. listen to my lunar gate call posted for free for all for more info on this (link below). what it is though is a super moon- being VERY CLOSE to earth and this magnifies and amplifies the lunar currents present.
all the virgo planets are trine to uranus and quincunx chiron- the reverse of the previous new moon in leo on july 31st when that new moon was trine chiron and square uranus. uranus brings innovation and change. this is great for new ideas around how to do your work, how to heal your body and how to go deeper in your evolutionary journey. the quincunxes to chiron show what is blocking us. what wounds and pain are keeping us stuck? for some we are cut off from our anger and rage and we need to get back in touch with it in healthy ways. for others anger and rage gets reactively expressed and it becomes aggression, violent and destructive. we want to have a right relationship with anger and rage. not stuffing it but not reacting in it. can we express our anger while keeping our hearts open? in the new moon chart we have the asteroid magdalena conjunct the north node in cancer- with the north node itself heading to align with Sirius the Spiritual Sun of our sun in the coming month!!! amazing downloads and high frequency Light/Love/Wisdom are incoming from the Divine Feminine herself! this is a time to led the feminine lead- our inner feminine and her capacity to be with emotions, nurture and nourish ourselves and others- and also the feminine in the world. the dalai lama said the world will be saved by the western women. women and those who are more dominantly feminine essenced are in touch with their feelings and emotions. they understand we are all connected. the fires in the amazon may not impact us directly but we FEEL it- we feel Mother Earth burning. in the past the masculine and particularly the toxic patriarchal masculine has been leading- and look what that has done to our Beloved Planet. we need the feminine to lead and the masculine to follow and hold the container. that is the Highest expression of the masculine- to protect the feminine so she can birth new creations through the portal of her womb.

i leave you with the star sparks meditation for 7 virgo. this degree speaks to our journey of being “Granted the redemptive task of ferreting out what does not work and sending it upon it’s way, in the self and in everybody else. In order to get there, it has to be taken on personally and suffered from the inside. This is not a frequency you can get on top of. You’ve gotta be right there with it.” this is very virgo. being with what is- the embodied Goddess- in the details, in the midst of it all. ellias goes on to say “The reality of the situation is that the double we are up against in here is too relentless an adversary to be vanquished any other way then by waking up to what happens when we do this, and when we do that. The ultimate movement beyond the melodrama of good and evil, right and wrong.” we have to move beyond black and white thing. Union only happens when we blend the 2 together and find and understand all the grey areas in between. lets do the work to see the individual trees- not just the forrest. lets get myopic so we can tend to the fine currents of disconnection- so we can reconnect things and make them whole once again.

Virgo 7 A pie thrown in someone’s face
Becoming aware of what is against the self, what is wrong, what is stopping everything. Being put very starkly up against sharp evidence that the self has in her midst a saboteur, a double, somebody who is undoing what she tries to do, going hard against what she believes in and moves toward. And in tracking down that insidious frequency of negation, of destruction, of karmic fixation, something arises of a much bigger kind.
A remedial task to move beyond all internal and external versions of attack, harsh divisions, and sudden attitudes and stances which freak everybody out. In order to free up the most painful part of self, the discovery is made that each one has a very similar delusion to fight through, and that these shadow characters have been springing up in every direction.
Facing the music. Coming to our senses. Overthrowing an endless karmic bout with victimization and with self-discounting. Brought to very rude consequences for each errant attitude. Getting away with absolutely nothing.
Granted the redemptive task of ferreting out what does not work and sending it upon it’s way, in the self and in everybody else. In order to get there, it has to be taken on personally and suffered from the inside. This is not a frequency you can get on top of. You’ve gotta be right there with it.
Along the way toward extraordinary possibilities, stumbling upon so much shadow that we can turn sour, cynical, worldly wise. But it’s all a pose.
