The Full Moon/Prenumbral Lunar Eclipse at 5’07 Libra is exact on Monday March 25th at 3:00am EDT, marking the midway point of the current Lunar Cycle we are in that began with the New Moon in Pisces on March 10th. That New Moon was conjunct Neptune and this Full Moon Eclipse has the Sun and Moon both in declination aspects to Neptune- so the strong Neptune themes are very much up at the time of this Full Moon! Illusion, confusion, deception, illusion? Also intuition, dreams, imagination and spirituality? All Neptune themes are bolstered and perhaps over-amplified right now!
This Full Moon initiates us into the Eclipse Portal- which can be a dramatic time of change, endings and new beginnings! This is a South Node Eclipse and all month long we have had tense aspects to the South Node from Pisces Planets. The South Node is the path of karma and the past. It is the place we easily default to, collapsing into old behavior and staying stuck in old shadow dynamics. Libra South Node shadow plays out when we people please, sweep things under the carpet, maintain appearances and avoid the shadow underneath, when we repress anger, and when we put on good face and say the things people want to hear so as not to rock the boat.
The antidote to all of this is of course the Aries North Node- action, agency, healthy selfishness, boundaries, expressing anger in skillful ways- are all things to work towards during this Eclipse Portal. With the Full Moon on the South Node and Jupiter quincunx the South Node the next day- we certainly are going to get schooled in where we are overdoing that Libra Karma.
With all the Pisces Planets in the Full Moon Chart (Mars, Saturn, Venus, Neptune and Hygeia) and the Sun and Moon both in declination aspect to Neptune- the Pisces tendencies of escapism and avoidance are also magnified. Both Libra and Pisces really prefer to look at life through rose colored glasses. Seeing the possibility and potential are gifts of these signs- but this is also part of their shadow. Being aware of where we are stuck in fantasy, illusion, escapism or addiction – as a means to escape some reality in life is key right now.
The Full Moon links with all the Outer Planets- making this a highly Transpersonal Lunation. Transpersonal is great in the sense that we can tap into Higher Wisdom (Uranus), Higher Love (Neptune) and Higher Power (Pluto). The shadow of the transpersonality is that we may want to escape the personal, the human, the mundane. Being here now (as Ram Das said) is key!
Both Uranus and Neptune make tense aspects to the Lunar Eclipse- but luckily Pluto trines the Full Moon showing us that there is evolutionary potential inherent in this lunation if we are willing to dive deep, face shadow and do the work to transform. Are we willing to let go of old patterns, old relationships, old facades? If so we can use the Pluto energy to purge, release, die to the past and be reborn!
It is interesting to see Chiron conjunct Amor the asteroid about Love, Venus conjunct Cupido the Cupid of Love and Jupiter conjunct Eros the God of Love. Being that this is a Libra Eclipse romantic relationships and partnerships can definitely be in focus. Discerning healthy relationships from the ones that are unhealthy- perhaps based on us maintaining appearances or keeping the peace- is going to be key.
The right balance between self and other, give and take, independence and interconnection is being called for. Some of us need to think about others more. Some of us need to stand up for ourselves. This Eclipse Portal will certainly show each of us where your healing path lies and where our growth edge is. If you are willing to follow it and take action- some very profound healing can come in and through in the coming couple of weeks (and really 3-6 months- as eclipses have a 6 month effect)

The Sabian Symbol speaks to projection (a Libran/7th house theme in Astrology & Your Shadow). With the South Node in Libra we want to make sure we are projecting something that will help us grow into the future, not just keep us stuck in patterns of the past. The meditation for the degree is positive- but because of the South Node in the chart we want to make sure our ideals and dreams we are bringing into manifestation are evolutionary, not just the past repeating itself! (Also I really like the part about becoming a total Pure Channel for the Descent of Spiritual Power! It kind of hangs in the text and seems to be almost it’s own thing- a sidenote, seemingly unrelated- but it’s the part that feels the most powerful in the whole text!)
For the Star Sparks degree talks about how we can go back to our past and yet we cannot seem to get away from it either. The entire degree reads in a way that makes me think of the Nodes. The South Node is our past- the comfort, the familiarity and the stuckness, too. The North Node calls us forward- but our past if unresolved and not addressed ends up being what makes the choices in life. And our unresolved past will always choose more past karma- it is familiar after all. The reminder is to be spacious and open- not contracted and stuck. And then the duality of the Nodes opens us to the 3rd way which will only come in when we stop running from the past, stop obsessing with the future, and just choose to BE HERE NOW. Good medicine for the Eclipse Portal ahead!

According to a French proverb, “What is well conceived can easily be formulated.” The process of interior visualization can be quite essential, except in the case of a creative individual who has become a totally pure channel for the descent of spiritual Power, and a clear lens through which the Archetype in the Mind of Man (or God) can be projected without distortion wherever needed. In other cases the creative act is less direct: a man projects into the world what he has “seen” reflected on the screen of his individualized consciousness.
This is the first stage of the thirty-eighth five-fold sequence of symbolized phases in the process of individualized existence. It is a phase of INTERIOR FORMULATION in preparation for a creative projection of one’s ideals or concepts.

A baby with two sets of teeth.
We can’t go back to the safe enclosed proximity of our ancestors, to our simpler lifetimes, to what we felt so nurtured by before. Yet we can’t leave behind one bit of where we’ve been and what it means to us. We just keep going back and forth, in and out, captured by these different sides because we haven’t made the break and all our connections claim us, get a piece of us, won’t let go.
There is this nostalgia, this sentiment, this poignant feeling of something being lost. Also, there is this perpetual longing to be free and clear and on with something definite and firm and really ours. But mostly there is the pull between, the scales that won’t stop trying to find the lost balance in here.
What arises in the thick of this polarity stew is a place inside that has already taken all of this through her, lived it out a thousand times, and seen as clear as could ever be the mistakes we made. If only we really could have known all that when we needed to pull through, and yet had no idea how to do it.
The one persisting in the midst of all this discovers that the moment she is spacious within any and all possibilities, the drama parts and she is right here, as free as she wants to be. The moment she contracts into an old place of just not being willing to get it, she will indeed be sucked right back to the source of her confusion.
Her even greater discovery is that she can and will share so freely of this dance she has taken on for this very purpose. She finds to her great amazement that it always was a very light trance and the lessons are right there for the plucking, given just a bit of a chance.
