the last two weeks have been a doozy haven’t they? on the 7th and 8th of last week mercury in cancer triggered the uranus/pluto square and this week tuesday and wednesday (11th and 12th) venus did the same. major breakdowns and breakthroughs of the mind and heart are underway! not to mention major issues coming to a head in relationships, finances and our attachments to the past.
this journey is not over and it won’t be a for a while, as uranus and pluto do their dance until 2015! anytime a personal planet like the sun, moon, mercury, venus or mars enter into the cardinal signs of aries, cancer, libra or capricorn they will end up triggering the uranus/pluto square- bringing us face to face with breakdowns and potential breakthroughs in our lives.
here’s a heads up for the upcoming triggers of uranus and pluto this summer. forewarned is forearmed so schedule around these dates and maybe don’t go to court/see your ex/deal with your in-laws/make plans where this energy could make things more explosive. on the other hand though, uranus/pluto is all about change and revolution so perhaps this energy will actually help you in court or in a personal battle? the sole purpose of this transformational astrology is just that- to transform us. if are overly attached to the old ways of being and doing then the coming years can suck. but if we are open to change and actually facilitate the process- this can be a time of freedom and liberation like no other! it’s up to us how we work with the energies at play ;)

8/24-27- venus in libra triggers uranus/pluto square and jupiter in cancer- forming a CARDINAL GRAND CROSS
9/14-19- mercury in libra triggers uranus/pluto and jupiter- forming another GRAND CROSS
9/20 pluto stations direct in capricorn
as you can see cancer and libra are the outlets for the energy- so the cancer and libra areas of your chart will be the focus for breakdowns, breakthroughs, death and rebirth (symbolically speaking). when mars and jupiter are the triggering planets we will likely see more action, more explosions (inner and outer) and more intensity- as the nature of both of these planets are fiery in nature. all of august is pretty intense due to jupiter’s trigger of uranus and pluto and the grand cross being formed at the end of august. the two grand crosses will be particularly significant! in late august and mid september both venus and mercury in libra will square jupiter, oppose uranus, square pluto- creating a cross in the sky of friction, tension and intensity. if change is brewing in your life right now but you keep on resisting, denying, ignoring- then get ready for august and september to force your hand and set those changes into motion. i always recommend getting on board with your own evolution and growth and commencing that process as it shows the Universe that you want to grow and mature and the whole process ends up becoming a lot more pleasant ;)
now this blog is not meant to scare the crap out of you- it is meant to give you knowledge with which you can use in conscious (or unconscious) ways accordingly. there is a grand water trine happening this summer- exact in july- which is AMAZING and is almost like a cosmic epidural in the midst of the most intense part of the birth process ;) look to the water houses in your chart for where your gifts are- and embrace them/give thanks for them/do something with them!
