we are entering into a profound period of astrology that will become exact in july. social and outer planets are piling up in the water signs and they will all form what is called a grand water trine, aligning their energies in expansive and auspicious ways. this week we get a preview of the energy to come as both mercury and venus, the mind and heart, trine saturn and neptune- giving us insight into this watery, emotional, heart-centered energy that will get even bigger once jupiter moves into cancer (6/26).

yet we are still in the midst of a lot of intensity. we just had our first uranus/pluto square of the year and this energy is with us until 2015. there are many breakdowns and breakthroughs happening now- relationally, financially, emotionally and psychologically. in addition to that we have intense stuff playing out in the gemini area of our charts. currently jupiter is in gemini, so he is holding the Light to where we can make some great shifts in our lives. yet with the sun in gemini square chiron the wounded healer and feisty, aggressive mars in gemini square nebulous neptune this week- there are wounds, pain, delusions and deceptions we must face wherever gemini lands in our charts. the tendency to want to stay on the surface is strong because the depths are too painful, but until we acknowledge and address those depths we cannot fully see the Truth (of others, of ourselves) nor can we truly heal.
by week’s end as mercury triggers the uranus/pluto square we have a choice in how we work with the breakdown/breakthrough energy. we can choose mind expansion and radical change in our vision, or we can choose mental breakdowns, power/control dynamics with others and over emotionalism that gets us nowhere.
this week is dual in it’s focus. we need to address the shadow while staying focused on the Light. polarizing either way can get us into trouble.
the grand water trine that starts to build this week and lasts all summer truly is an opportunity for a summer of Love! first and foremost this energy should be focused within, as healthy self-Love is the key to all heart connections within and without. with water signs configured emotions, feelings, intuition, magic, and the Soul need to be embraced!
