mercury is almost out of his shadow- but he won’t leave it before he opposes neptune one more time. if you recall this mercury retrograde began with a mercury/neptune opposition (in the signs of virgo/pisces respectively). because this aspect happened when the station began it colored the entire mercury retrograde. both the Light and the shadow of mercury/neptune has been prominent during the past month.
the Highest expression of these two is mystical awareness, spiritual experience, enhanced intuition and inspiration from the Divine! the shadow expression of these two is delusion, confusion, illusion and even outright deception! this past month we all needed to be very careful of the words we say and the thoughts we think. checking in on our level of integrity and Truthfulness was key- but so too, was, checking in on the integrity and Truthfulness of other people in our lives. something in our lives was nebulous and confusing during the past month- and there may even have been some kind of purposeful deception going on.
with the last mercury/neptune opposition set to occur tomorrow (thursday 9/7) and the same aspect occurring by declination the following day- the themes listed above are about to hit home big time! before the dust settles and the picture clears, there may be a bit more confusion and illusion to deal with. mercury moves into discriminating virgo late thursday night but does not clear his shadow until late friday. after he does this realizations can start to come in. so take note and pay attention to reality- not to your fantasy of how reality should be.
keep in mind that mercury ruled the recent new moon- so there are still some hurdles to clear before things start moving with more speed and clarity in regards to your new moon intentions. the full moon is on monday 9/12 which will be a check point on where we are at with what we intended. intention without action or integrity will get you nowhere. show the Universe that you are ready to honestly work for what you say you want- and the Universe will support you!
