hello friends/readers :) i am sorry i have been missing in action of late. i have been writing my regular columns (weekly forecast, weekly horoscopes, monthly forecast and lunar insights) but it has been hard to find time to do much else. as most of you know- i was in a deep process last week with my fiance as his father passed on. thank you for your well wishes and prayers! they are received with much gratitude :)
we have also been in maui where my beloved has been teaching a retreat with ram dass. internet connection has been spotty and time limited so i have not been able to do much extra writing (the astrology blog portion of the site). this will change as i return home at the start of this coming week.
i do have two things i want to share with you, in case you missed them. one involves a retreat my beloved and i will be leading in the south of france for the rare and auspicious venus transit of the sun in june 2012. this sacred land is very much connected to the Goddess: venus’ 8 year cycle that forms a pentacle in the sky is superimposed on the land and sacred sites are positioned at each of the points of the star. we will be staying in the center of the pentacle in the valley of God/Goddess (that is the real name of where we are staying!). we have a couple spaces left and ticket prices are still reasonable- so if the south of france, the Divine Feminine and the Mary Magdalene mysteries call to you this may be the trip for you! check out the link below and email thaiyoga108@yahoo.com ASAP if interested.

and last but not least i will be teaching my first public class (gulp!) on friday may 11th at shakti fest! my session runs from 11am to 1pm and i will be talking about the evolution of astrology and the necessity to include more aspects of the Divine Feminine in order for a more complete picture of astrology and the Soul’s evolution to form. if you want to celebrate Mother’s day in the desert at joshua tree with lots of yoga, kirtan and spiritual teachings- come join us! and bring your mom :) my mom is coming! for more info the link is below.
