happy tuesday everyone! after a long 4 day weekend to celebrate easter/ostara/rebirth and fertility- i wanted to post an astrology blog to give you all a head’s up of the dominating frequencies at the start of the week. there are TWO FREQUENCIES vying for our attention right now. one is URANUS- as the sun conjoined him yesterday and mercury does so tomorrow. because uranus is activated, so is the uranus/pluto square (the sun and mercury are triggering both right now). for anyone having the URANUS/PLUTO SQUARE activate a planet or point in their natal chart- the uranian energy in the first half of the week is firing up that transit big time. it’s a good time to expect the unexpected and stay open to sudden shifts and change. yet with uranus in ARIES- there can also be sudden uprisings of anger, aggression and irritation- particularly if we have been stuffing it for a while. watch out for accidents and impulsivity as acting on this high energy frequency without thinking could cost you.
the other focus is JUPITER in LEO who is stationary, set to go DIRECT on wednesday. the slowest planet in the sky is the strongest energetically speaking because they transit a particular degree a lot longer than the faster moving planets. that is why the OUTER PLANET TRANSITS (uranus, neptune and pluto) tend to have more affect on us personally and collectively than inner ones. when a planet slows down to stop and turn direct or retrograde it is at a standstill in the sky (from our perspective on earth) and as such it increases in strength and potency. since jupiter is the GREATER BENEFIC we have some super positive, growth-oriented, expansive energy playing out right now! yes there are things in a state of chaos in our lives, but where jupiter is in your chart you have an angel on your shoulder watching out for you and bringing you blessings :) so give thanks- as gratefulness attracts more abundance and positivity!
to see that both URANUS and JUPITER in FIRE SIGNS are dominant right now is interesting. they both are planets that don’t like to be bound, limited or restricted in anyway. the signs they rule- aquarius and sagittarius respectively- are two of the most independent signs in the whole zodiac (with aries being the third and uranus is in aries right now). with both bodies in FIRE SIGNS- the passionate, creative energy is high! remember that these two planets are in TRINE aspect with each other and they have been since fall of 2014 and will be until summer of this year. so behind the scenes of all this astrology is the potential for breakthroughs, innovations, inventions, liberation and quantum leaps- personally and collectively. to harness the positive side of this astrology we have to be willing to let go of our attachments to safety, security and to doing the same things over and over again in the same way expecting a different result. the only way you will get a different result is if you do something different! and with jupiter and uranus dominant that something different has to be wild, cutting edge, creative, original and dramatic (in the best sense of the word).
