the full moon at 3’28 capricorn is exact on thursday june 24th at 11:40am PDT, marking the midway point of the current lunar cycle we are in that began with the north node solar eclipse in gemini on june 10th. that new moon eclipse opened a portal for us to open our minds, be curious and learn something new. questioning our minds, thoughts, beliefs and narratives so we can get under what really informs our perspective is key. that new moon was conjunct mercury retrograde and square neptune asking us to take off the rose colored glasses, see through illusion and get to the Truth!
with the full moon in capricorn we have Light being brought to the patriarchal structures in our lives that no longer serve. where do we shut down, come from dogma or rigidity, and now allow the flow of emotions, feelings and kindness fully come through? we also have reality checks present. capricorn is all about what IS. with cancer/capricorn highlighted we can have things brought to a head, climax or crisis points in regards to home, family, parents, children, work, career and/or personal life.
this full moon links with jupiter (sun trine, moon sextile) so there is much opportunity for opening up our minds and hearts right now if we so choose! jupiter in pisces reminds us that compassion, an open heart, empathy and kindness go a LONG way. realizations, inspirations and downloads can be incoming!!!
with both jupiter and neptune at standstill (jupiter on 6/20 and neptune 6/25)- the two planet of spirituality and transcendence are at their most powerful. the mystic veils are opening! dreams, intuition and psychic perception can be off the charts! we also have mercury at standstill on 6/22 (he goes direct)- reminding us to pause our linear logical minds and allow information to come through other senses, realms and dimensions. the realms of possibility are infinite!
the ruler of this lunation is saturn who is retrograde in aquarius- having just perfected his 2nd of 3 squares to uranus on june 14th. in the full moon chart mars in leo is triggering them both (mars approaching his opposition to sautrn and square uranus)- bringing energy and activation to one of the biggest transits of 2021!
this is what i wrote in my weekly/monthly forecast about saturn square uranus:
“saturn is the old, uranus is the new. saturn is the past, uranus is the future. saturn is stability and tradition- uranus is change, upheaval and new things coming in. we are in between a rock and a hard place. discerning what is the baby and what is the bathwater is key right now. saturn is in the sign of uranus- which can focus and discipline the energy of change but can also block, limit or repress the rebellion and revolution that is building within and without. uranus is in taurus- which can be great for waking up in the body and changing our values- but it can also exacerbate the desire to check out of the body, escape and can coincide with big earth changes. can you feel the earth moving under your feet (metaphorically but also perhaps literally)? do some honest self checkins so you can discern what is old/karmic that needs releasing and what is new/growth oriented that needs embracing, anchoring and embodying. and make sure your ego is not informing this as attachments can be insidious and can block the path!”
so with mars triggering this powerful duo- change is in the air! resistance to change is futile- so learning to flow with change and become the agents of it while staying centered and grounded in our being is key ;) no easy feat!!!
it is interesting to note that the sun and moon are at important degrees of the zodiac. the sun is at the midsummer degree and day of st john the baptism and the moon is at the midwinter degree on the night of Christmas eve (the birth of jesus- but also the birth of many ‘sons of God/Goddess’ that are celebrated during this solar mystery gateway). in the density cards/cards of the magi- we have the 6 of clubs and 7 of hearts- the messenger card & the spiritual love card. truly this full moon and entire solstice gateway (from 6/20-6/25) have profound energies pouring forth which can bring insightful messages, realizations and heart expansion!!! so tune in, don’t tune out!
i leave you with the star sparks degree for this lunation. it reminds me of the quality of capricorn that speaks to the ancestors and ancients and the footsteps we follow- of the elders that came before and/or of our pervious lifetimes. to come into connection with the timeless being within is such a gift. i also include the sun degree (opposite the full moon)- which reminds us to fully reclaim our true heritage so we can be a “clean slate for a whole new life to being from the Source purely”.
give yourself time to tap into this level of awareness during this full moon- you may be pleasantly surprised at what you re-member ad reclaim <3
blessings…

FULL MOON DEGREE
Capricorn 4 Footprints in the snow
We trail off at the end of a lifetime and then we find ourselves resuming the path as we go about the business of the next life. Each time around, we take the journey as far as we can. Then we give our next self a shove in the same direction, knowing that there is so much further to go and so much unfinished business pending.
Yet the new self feels the weight and the pressure, the heaviness and the strain of trying to follow up on what was put into operation in another time and place, under a set of conditions which no longer apply. And the old self can easily be perceived as expecting and demanding too much or pulling us in a direction which will be painful and difficult and very hard to stay with.
Even as we react and pull back and try to get on with our lives in a more contemporary vein, the one we were before won’t go away, won’t stop pointing out that we have yet to take seriously what we have inherited from the past and the responsibilities it puts us under. And this influence can be a mighty power, a formidable frequency, even if we don’t quite get where that is coming from or what is really going on in the larger picture.
The skillful approach would be to respect and honor the life we are coming out of and to be willing to encounter its lessons and its meanings, free of conditions and constraints. For there is so much to learn and grow with and remember and become alive to at a level few can ever attain to, except through the live wire of following closely on the heels of one’s past selves, the ones we were such a short time ago.
A lesson within the lesson, a path within the path, spirals us toward the possible state of being at one with who we’ve always been and becoming interiorly clear that this is not a drag, but rather a privilege. We are being granted primal access to worlds gone by and our part is to dance timelessly.

Cancer 4 Weeping willows by a pond
Life is a dream. Inside the dream, we remember, we envision, we play out roles and masks. But somehow, everything passes us by. We are waiting and longing, wishing and hoping. These are passive conditions. We sit back inside and we yearn toward that which is unattainable.
We have backed ourselves into a snug corner. It becomes our life. We belong to something so familiar. It holds us, fashions us, feeds us, clothes us. And it keeps us forever a child, a dreamer, a possibility that is held in suspension.
This is not a good deal. It does seem like one sometimes. We can be secure and safe in here for a good long while. We can be taken care of by life’s good graces indefinitely. But we will remain dependent, attached, clinging, needy and regressive.
This is a cul-de-sac. We cannot take it further. What we need is to activate soul force. We need to argue with our propensity for giving way. We need to rage and ferment and cause some trouble. For if we stay put in this stupor, we will be passed over as background material.
There is a crying need inside to care, to realize, to step out of the way we are accustomed to. And at first this can be a formidable demand and challenge. Once we get hooked on the sweet sensation of self-forgetfulness, it’s a hard habit to break and to stay out of.
We cannot indulge any addictive patterns any further. We must not rationalize negligence and self-betrayal. Being a visitor is a poor excuse for living.
Our path here lies legitimately in reclaiming the fiber of our true heritage. This is something so substantive that it disproves the liars and controllers. And soon we discover, if we begin to stir from the nightmare, that we are a clean slate for a whole new life to begin from the source purely.
