…happy wednesday! oh boy can you feel the energy building!?! i sure can!!!
between last night and this morning both the SUN and MERCURY linked up with the evolutionary NORTH NODE- bringing in important information, aha moments, insights and awarenesses that you need to pay attention to. what is coming in is helping you to grow in self mastery and discernment and it’s helping you to align more deeply with your own path of inner work (if you so choose to walk that path)
tonight the SUN COJOINS MERCURY- and tomorrow they both OPPOSE PLUTO- so this is a time to keep your eyes and ears wide open. what you hear, think, say, intuit or receive in information could be shocking, destabilizing, unexpectedly revealing and more. it’s also very important to listen to the things NOT being said and pay attention to the actions being taken versus the words being said that are simply only scratching the surface. it’s time to DIVE DEEP!
due to the PLUTO OPPOSITION energy you want to steer clear of power/control dynamics with others and instead focus on standing in your power, holding your ground and staying deeply committed to living aligned with Truth, Integrity and Self/Other Honesty. arguments with others occur when two people are trying to prove themselves. but when you deeply know you are living your Truth you have no need to prove yourself as your actions speak louder than your words.
VENUS TRINES MARS today and other astrologers might tell you this is a great day for romance but i am not so sure about that. later in the day VENUS SQUARE ERIS and tomorrow VENUS SQUARES URANUS- so lovely venus is heading into wake up/shake up territory with eris the Goddess of discord creating upheaval and revealing truths we did not want to see about ourselves, others and the world around us. MARS will QUINCUNX ERIS on friday and uranus next week- so both the Divine Lovers are in a chaotic node kind of energy right now (read channelings by tom kenyon for more information on the chaotic nodes). typically venus trine mars is great but you have to see the Bigger Context at play right now.
this entire week and lunar cycle is one to STAY COMMITTED TO LIVING THE TRUTH, SEEING THE TRUTH, ALIGNING WITH THE TRUTH and FACING WHERE YOU ARE NOT IN TRUTH AND YOU ARE LYING TO YOURSELF, TO OTHERS OR THE WORLD AROUND YOU. major opportunities for revelation are possible right now but as the article i posted yesterday on Facebook reminds us- awakening is a destructive process (you can find that article here- http://upliftconnect.com/awakening-is-a-destructive-process/. it essentially destroys illusions we hold about ourselves, others and the world around us. if you want to evolve, grow and move further on the path of awakening you have to be willing to let things fall apart first before they can reform into something new and more sustainable for your growth down the line.

at 7:51am mercury in cancer sexiltes the north node in virgo, aligning the conscious mind and intellect with the evolutionary north node of growth and destiny! yesterday the sun linked up with the north node and today mercury does- with the sun and mercury linking up with each other later this evening. major new information, ideas, connections and pathways are opening up in our lives right now! the key is to stay open- both heart and mind- and be willing to show up and do the inner and outer work to make things happen. pay close attention to what you hear, read, say or intuit today. the Universe is delivering messages and you want to have the ears to hear and the eyes to see :)
venus in cancer trines now direct mars in scorpio at 1:17pm, aligning the Divine Lovers in watery, emotional and sensitive ways. typically this is an absolutely lovely aspect for passion, romance, creativity and self-expression and we can definitely work to access this positive side of venus/mars. yet venus heads to square the uranus/eris conjunction later today and tomorrow and mars will will quincunx uranus/eris 7/8-13- so both the Divine Lovers are engaging with the rebel and revolutionary (uranus) and the Goddess of discord and chaos (eris) over the next week- bringing some volatile energies to play out in relationships. with the water signs configured diving deep into feeling, emotion, intuition and the Soul is recommended today but be sure to do so with wisdom, awareness and an ability reign in reactivity for best results!
at 6:08pm venus in cancer squares eris in aries, creating tension and friction between the Goddess of Love and beauty and the Goddess of discord and chaos! this can bring upheaval energy into relationships. topsy turvy changes and sudden reversals or endings are possible. dealing with anger and rage in healthy ways and knowing when to hold on and when to let go is key right now. venus will trigger uranus tomorrow, triggering the uranus/eris conjunction. expect the unexpected and facilitate the endings and new beginnings in your life!
