Monday November 20th-
At 10:36am the Sun cojoins Ceres at 28’02 Scorpio- linking the Conscious Self and ego with the Great Mother asteroid Goddess. Ceres has been in the midst of MASSIVE activation by the outer planets in the last several weeks- notably Uranus opposing her 11/5 and the Eris/North Node conjunction quincunxing her 11/12. Sun and Ceres in Scorpio are bringing Light to the shadow and the Underworld journey we are on as a humanity. So much loss of life and mothers grieving their dead children, as well as children grieving their dead mothers and other family members- makes this particularly journey of Ceres through the sign of Scorpio ruled by Pluto the God of Death extra intense. Honor your grief and rage and honor the loss of life and love and humanity you see around you. Don’t shut your heart down- keep it WIDE OPEN and allow Quan Yin the Goddess of Compassion to come through you. You don’t have to hold the space for everyone – She does. But She comes through each of us- saying open to receive her. With Ceres sextile Pluto tomorrow- the power of the Divine Feminine and the Divine Mother to hold, transmute and transform everything is here for us to anchor into if we so choose <3
The Sun in Scorpio sextiles Pluto in Capricorn at 4:26pm- linking the Conscious Self and ego with the planet of Transformation and Evolution. The Sun is in Pluto’s sign so there is a double down energy right now of Pluto/Scorpio potency- which helps us get deep, stay focused and do the deep inner and outer work of transformation. This is a great day for getting focused and moving mountains! Rather than give away your power or lord your power over others- step out of the victim/tyrant dynamic and relate to your power from a solid place within. This is the first aspect the Sun makes after starting a new Sun/Mars cycle (with Mars following suit tomorrow). HARNESS THE POWER AVAILABLE FOR PROFOUND TRANSFORMATION AND CHANGE!!!
At 10:05pm Pallas Athena in Scorpio trines Saturn in Pisces 0’45 – linking the Wisdom and Warrior Goddess with the Lord of Karma and Father of Time. This alignment is harmonious helping us to link our Wisdom with our mastery and integrity. In water signs being masterful around our use or misuse of emotions- grief, fear, anger, rage and more- is key. Pallas provides insight into where we need to step up and take greater responsibility within and without. Pay attention!
Mercury in Sagittarius trines Retrograde Chiron in Aries at 10:08pm- linking the Mind and Intellect with the Wounded Healer planetoid. Communication can be healing today IF we are willing to own our shadow pieces and clean up our side of the road. Truth must be balanced with compassion and kindness. Tempering our ego energies so we can see, speak and hear the Greater Truth is key. This is a great day for therapy and any kind of inner work or shadow work! The insights that come forward can be LIFE CHANGING.
Tuesday November 21st-
At 12:43am Ceres in Scorpio sextiles Pluto in Capricorn- linking the Great Mother asteroid Goddess with the Lord of the Underworld. These two have a connection in mythology as Pluto abducted Ceres/Demeter’s daughter Persephone in the modern Greek and Roman myths. This link is harmonious and with Ceres in the sign of Pluto- there is depth and transformative capacity to access. Mothers, children and families- environments, resources and lands- can harness the power of Pluto- to dive into the depths, confront the shadow and transform. This is excellent astrology for therapy, shadow work, dream work and anything that helps you get to the root and foundation of trauma, pain and wounds- personally and also collectively. It is only when we can get to the root of something that we can truly heal it. DIVE DEEPER!
Mars in Scorpio sextiles Pluto in Capricorn at 8:18pm- harmoniously aligning the lower will and Higher Will in powerful ways. Mars/Pluto is a powerhouse of an aspect. When you put these two together you can literally move mountains! The key here is to harness this powerful energy for good things like transformation, regeneration, rebirth- rather than negative things like manipulation or power and control dynamics. With Mars in the sign of Pluto- our ability to empower ourselves and take action in the world is phenomenal right now. We just began a new Sun/Mars cycle and the first aspect they both made in the ‘New Moon’ phase of their cycle is a sextile to Pluto- the ruler of the Sign their conjunction was in. This is powerful and shows us there are deep transformational energies to be harnesses. Both Pluto and Scorpio have the power of death and rebirth. There are times in life when things must die in order for something new to be born. Tuning in on what this is for you and what this is for the collective is key right now.
Wednesday November 22nd-
The Sun moves out of Scorpio and into Sagittarius at 9:03am- shifting the Conscious Self and ego from Water to Fire, yin to yang, internally focused to externally focused. The Sun in Sagittarius brings focus to travel, expansion, Truth, teaching/learning and opening our minds! The pursuit of Truth and positivity unfolds over the coming month! Just watch out for overdoing it (including spending/eating/drinking), hubris, self-righteousness and thinking you have the right Truth and everyone else just needs to follow ;)
At 11:45am Venus in Libra opposes Retrograde Chiron in Aries- creating tension between the Goddess of Love and Beauty and the Wounded Healer planetoid. Venus/Chiron can bring up some big time old wounds and pain in relationships and in regard to our self-worth and self-love. Venus in Libra can be over focused on others and what they are doing and how they value us- and the healing happens when she stops looking outside and instead looks within. With the Libra/Aries polarity activated- we all want to find balance between our yin and yang, our feminine and masculine, our relational focus and our self focus. If we are sweeping our anger/will/drive under the carpet and pretending everything is perfect- this kind of astrology will bring up and out what has been swept under the carpet. On the other hand if we are overly aggressive and self-focused the course correction here is to start thinking of others before the self and seek to find peace and harmony into our relationships. Bringing greater awareness and healing into relational dynamics is on offer right now.
Thursday November 23rd-
Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate. I personally celebrate this day as a Harvest festival and I take time to honor the indigenous americans who lived on this land before it was conquered and taken by the white pilgrims. I have indigenous blood (Hawaiian) as well as white conqueror blood. As the bridge between cultures I honor both by learning about the history of both <3 In doing so I learn more about the trauma AND the gifts I carry from my bloodlines.
Because we are bookended by squares to Saturn today through Saturday there may be some heavy energies to navigate at family gatherings- particularly with fathers, father figures or those who adhere to traditions and patriarchal beliefs and expectations. Navigate the terrain with a lot of consciousness and awareness this week <3
At 12:40am Mars cojoins Ceres at 29 Scorpio- linking the God of War and Will with the Great Mother asteroid Goddess in the Karmic Completion degree of 29 Scorpio. Mars/Ceres at best helps us take action for mothers, children, safety, security and the Earth itself. The shadow of this alignment is Mars’ dark side is one of violence, aggression and war. Mothers and women and people who honor the Divine Feminine have a unique role on the planet right now as the voice of Love and Peace. The Great Mother is the anti-dote to all the pain and trauma of the last 5000 years of monotheistic patriarchal domination and destruction. Honor the mother and embody her Love, Wisdom & Power today!
The Sun in Sagittarius squares Saturn in Pisces at 4:47am- creating tension between the Conscious Self and ego and the Lord of Karma. This can make for some heavy energy today (Thanksgiving for those who celebrate in the USA)- with a need for reality checks to make sure we are seeing reality and not defaulting to Love, Light and escapism. Being willing to question our beliefs and truths we adhere to is key. Watch out for hubris and self righteousness, but also watch out for fear of speaking up and speaking Truth! Balance is key.
Friday November 24th-
At 4:27am Mercury in Sagittarius quincunxes Retrograde Uranus in Taurus- creating tension and friction between the Mind and Intellect and the Rebel and Revolutionary. There are some big time changes happening in our minds, thinking and perception right now- and some of these changes can seemingly come out of nowhere! Staying open to change, revelation and sudden insight is recommended. Keep your mind OPEN!
Mars moves out of Scorpio and into Sagittarius at 5:15am- shifting the Will and Drive from Water to Fire, yin to yang, depths and to heights. Mars in Sagittarius likes his freedom and he loves to wander the world and explore! We can channel our energy into travel, teaching, learning, exploring and expanding right now and in the coming 6 weeks of Mars’ journey through this sign. We just need to be aware of the shadow of Mars in Sagittarius: doing/pursuing too much with no sense of limit or discipline, having our ego attached to our beliefs and self righteous perceptions, and having no capacity to put the breaks on. Too much of a good thing OR too much ego can get out of hand. Reigning in our desires and ego selves in healthy ways is key to self mastery.
Saturday November 25th-
At 12:11am Ceres moves out of Scorpio and into Sagittarius- shifting the Great Mother from watery, yin, feminine Scorpio to fiery, yang, masculine Sagittarius. Ceres in Sagittarius nurtures through freedom and the pursuit of Truth. Just watch out for nurturing hubris and self righteousness in yourself and others. Ceres in Sagittarius at her best gives us wings to fly and freedom to learn about more than our own myopic vision based on our own culture, religion, gender and/or political affiliation. Learn to see beyond!
Saturn at 0 Pisces semisquares Retrograde Chiron at 15 Aries at 6:13am- creating tension between the Lord of Karma and Father of Time and the Wounded Healer planetoid. Saturn/Chiron is heavy and brings awareness to our mortality, our wounds and pain, our deep emotions we have ignored or cut ourselves off from and more. Pisces is a water sign deeply connected to Grief & Love. Aries is a fire sign deeply connected to Rage & Power. We need to navigate our emotions consciously so we can access the gifts of Love and Power otherwise we will stay stuck in victim/tyrant dynamics where we give away our power or lord our power over others- but will never really come to know true power which is centered in and acted out from the space of the Heart. If you find intense emotions arising today- try being with them, breathing through them, finding where they are lodged in your body, giving them voice so they can express and release what needs to be said and let go of (in safe containers). Deep things arising today need to be honored in order to be moved through.
At 11:27am Mars in Sagittarius sesquiquadrates Retrograde Chiron in Aries and at 11:57am Mars squares Saturn- so Mars triggers the Saturn/Chiron semisquare. Mars rules the sign Chiron is in- and with both in fire signs we want to watch out for only accessing our rage and anger as a means to avoid really feeling our grief and sadness. Grief and Rage are nested emotions- typically we have access to one and the other one we ignore or deny. If you find yourself angry today- try to find your grief underneath it. Alternatively if you find yourself grieving today- try to find your healthy anger and rage underneath it. Grief opens the heart, Anger/Rage helps us hold our boundaries. We need both on tap to live with open hearts and healthy boundaries <3
Mars in Sagittarius square Saturn in Pisces (at 11:57am) creates a tense aspect between the two Malefic planets. Mars is fiery and passionate in Sagittarius but he can also be super self righteous and full of hubris. Saturn in Pisces helps us face fears and realize dreams- but the shadow is he can shut down our intuition and inspiration and/or keep us in fear. This is a heavy aspect that needs to be moved through consciously. Both signs have to do with spirituality- so clashes over belief and truth can get exacerbated today.
Mercury in Sagittarius trines the Mean North Node in Aries at 6:19pm- linking the Mind and Intellect with the Node of Destiny! Today through tomorrow Mercury triggers the Eris/North Node conjunction- making it a great time to SPEAK UP, SPEAK TRUTH and TAKE A STAND. The element of fire is inspired and active and passionate- use these energies wisely to create waves of positive change.
Sunday November 26th-
At 10:49am Venus in Libra quincunxes Retrograde Uranus in Taurus- creating tension between the Goddess of Love and Beauty and the Rebel, Revolutionary and Great Awakener. Both bodies are in Venus ruled signs so change is incoming regarding the feminine, relationships, material life, values and more! Being open to change and being willing to let go of that which is not serving is SO KEY right now. DO NOT hold onto things that are toxic for you out of fears around safety, security or money. Trust the Universe has your back and that a new beginning will come out of some other beginnings end <3
Mercury in Sagittarius trines Retrograde Eris in Aries at 10:05pm- aligning the Conscious Mind and Intellect with the Goddess of Discord and Chaos! This is a day to stay open to information and communications that reveal Truth. Eris sees into the shadow and sees what others do not want to see. She disrupts old orders starting within and extending without. Channeling her energy into our communication and thinking can be revelatory and illuminating today!
