The New Moon at 20’43 Scorpio is exact at 4:27am EDT- marking Lunar Samhain and commencing a new Lunar Cycle. With the New Moon tightly conjunct Mars the God of Will and War and Ceres the Great Mother and all of these Scorpio planets tightly opposites Uranus in Taurus- this Lunar Cycle looks to be one of sudden and unexpected change, liberation, freedom, upsets and/or shocks. You never know what you are going to get with Uranus- he is the planet of unpredictability. At 10:05am Ceres in Scorpio trines Retrograde Neptune in Pisces- harmoniously aligning the planet of Compassion and Empathy with the Great Mother asteroid Goddess. Neptune/Ceres is the compassionate, ever-loving mother who would do anything for her young. Taking time to nourish and nurture ourselves and others in our lives is supported right now. With both bodies in Water signs the emotional energy is high- which can prove to be emotionally healing if we are ready, willing and able to really feel all that is coming up for us this week.
The Sun in Scorpio opposes Retrograde Uranus in Taurus at 12:21pm- creating tension between the Conscious Self and ego and the Great Awakener! With the Sun, New Moon, Mars and Ceres all opposite Uranus this month there is lots of upheaval, change and perhaps chaos playing out in our values, material attachments, relationships and that which we hold onto. With both bodies in Venus-ruled signs we can find that women, the feminine, relationships, the earth, money and more are getting wake up shake up energy! The New Moon this morning was opposite Uranus, then the Sun opposed Uranus and finally Venus tensely aspects Uranus. Uranus is the planet of unpredictability and he governs the unexpected. Expect the unexpected is a great mantra for today! Stay open to change and be aware that the earth is moving under our feet (literally in terms of the many earthquakes and volcanos erupting right now) as well as metaphorically. Change can be freeing and liberating if you allow it to be!
Tuesday November 14th-
At 8:08pm Mars in Scorpio quincunxes the Mean North Node in Aries- creating tension between the God of War and the Node of Destiny. Mars rules both Scorpio and Aries and there is some extra potent intensity surrounding the astrology right now. At best we can use Mars to take action and take a stand- but the shadow is this can devolve in power/over, power/under dynamics, domination and control. Today through the 16th Mars triggers the Eris/North Node conjunction- so channel your ego and will wisely so that it is serving something Higher. If your ego is in the driver’s seat things can get SUPER INTENSE right now.

Wednesday November 15th-
At 12:19am Pallas Athena in Libra squares Pluto in Capricorn- creating tension between the Wisdom and Warrior Goddess and the Lord of the Underworld. Pallas in Libra wants peace and harmony and is focused on fairness and justice. The square to Pluto in Capricorn is exposing the shadows in patriarchal institutions, governments, leaders and more. This can be a power struggle between those that want peace and those that want control and domination. Pluto is exposing the shadows that are beneath the surface- so if you have been sweeping things under the carpet to maintain appearances know that things can be coming up right now (also because of the strong Uranus/Eris present). As this transit occurs in the early morning hours- pay attention to your dreams upon waking for messages from the Unconscious.
Mercury in Sagittarius sextiles Venus in Libra at 7:48am- linking the Mind and the Heart in harmonious ways. Mercury wants the Truth in Sagittarius and Venus wants peace in Libra- yet their aspect with each other is in the midst of intense triggers by Saturn 11/8-10, and by Jupiter today through tomorrow. The two Teacher Planets are schooling our Love and Light tendencies to want to only see the positive and only see the beautiful. At best we can use this astrology to have heart to heart talks and honestly share and honestly listen- but we have to watch out for bravado and hubris (Jupiter) as well as denial and escapism (Saturn in Pisces).

These two are in deeply relational signs but they have different focuses relationally. Scorpio wants to dive deep and face the shadow, whereas Libra wants peace, harmony and to keep things light. In relationships there can be conflict between the two positions with a need to find a new median place to meet on. Shadows and depth vs surface and light can feel at odds right now. Find a bridge!

At 2:48am Venus in Libra quincunxes Retrograde Jupiter in Taurus- creating tension between the two Benefic planets who are both in Venus-ruled signs. If our desires for peace, Love and beauty are not balanced with wanting to see and address the shadow- this astrology can magnify those imbalances. Too much of a good thing can be too much! Watch out for overdoing, overspending, over eating and generally using the material world to escape from reality today.

Mars in Scorpio quincunxes Retrograde Eris in Aries at 8:17am- creating tension and friction between the Will, Warrior and Drive and the Goddess of Discord and Chaos. Deep things are being penetrated into with a need to see what is beneath the surface that no one wants to see. This can play out personally and collectively. Mars in scorpio wants you to ruthlessly face any and all shadow pieces within the self that up until now you have avoided, denied, projected or disassociated with. With Eris involved we have the Dark Goddess tossing the Apple of Discord into areas of life that on the surface look shiny and pretty but underneath they are toxic, decaying and in need of some clearing out. Tapping into the Highest expression of Mars/Neptune is recommended- and the best avenues to do so are through meditation, art, selfless service and mystical pursuits.
Venus in Libra semisquares Mars in Scorpio at 7:21am- creating tension between the Divine Lovers in potent ways. Venus is in her home sign and Mars is as well- which strengthens their positions as well as amplifies the polarization between them. Venus is inherently relational and collaborative- whereas Mars is inherently independent and combative. Put the two together and there can be issues coming up in relationships today that need navigating. This is a carry over of the Sun/Venus semisquare from Wednesday morning. If it’s not the Higher Will that is leading things can devolve into power struggles, authoritarianism, violence and domination. This is great astrology to get to the bottom of things via research, investigation, therapy, shadow work and inner inquiry. Mercury in Sagittarius brings the desire for Truth while Pluto in Capricorn brings the focus to exposing what is in the shadow. Yet this is a tense aspect so watch out for power/control dynamics in communication, hubris and self righteousness. Being willing to both see the Truth and speak the Truth is key!

Pallas Athena moves out of Libra and into Scorpio at 4:00am- shifting the Wisdom and Warrior Goddess from Air to Water, thinking to feeling, peace and harmony focused to focus on the depths and what lies in the shadow. Pallas in deep and transformative Scorpio is amazing for research, investigation, shadow work, therapy and soul/spirit surgery. The capacity to get to the core of the matter and see through the shit is profound with Pallas in Scorpio. Using her deep discernment in alignment with her profound sense of instinct and intuition is key during her transit through the Sign of Pluto. Dive deep!
