Ring of Fire Solar Eclipse in Aquarius ~ A Wake-Up Call for Humanity (2/17/26)

You can read this Lunar Insight or listen to me read it to you here-   The New Moon/Ring of Fire Solar Eclipse at 28’50 Aquarius is exact on Tuesday February 17th, 2026 at 4:01am PST/5:01 MST/7:01am EST- commencing a new Lunar Cycle and a New Lunar (Chinese) Near Year! New Moons in Aquarius focus on community, humanity, rebellion, revolution, awakening and change. This is also the Lunar Gate of Imbolc (Solar Gate was on February 3rd) which is the Gate of Emergence- the midway point between Winter and Spring where we start to see new life emerge out of the darkness and into the Light. This is one wake up shake up lunation- as it is a Solar Eclipse with a Ring of Fire visible if you live in Antarctica (lol), and Partial Eclipse visibility at the southernmost tip of South America and parts of Southern Africa. Solar Eclipses are amplified New Moons- and this one is a North Node Eclipse so there is a destiny energy present. We are being called forward, as a humanity- to wake ourselves out of the illusion/confusion matrix so we can see the Truth within and without more clearly! This Aquarius Eclipse is in a tight square to Uranus at 27’32 Taurus- who just stationed Direct on February 3rd. We are in the midst of tons of Aquarius Planets squaring Uranus- which the Epstein Files released was part of. Uranus is known to shock our socks off. He is also tied to earthquakes and other kinds of shake ups (emotional, spiritual, mental as well as physical). Uranus is in Taurus which is a sign of being in the body- but Aquarius likes to go up and out and be in the mind or in the tech matrix :-0 We want to be really aware of where we may be checking out, escaping and not wanting to be here now, on this earth, in this body- paying attention to reality- as this astrology can exacerbate tendencies to go up and out. The Moon in the USA Chart is the dispositor of the blessed Cancer Stellium- Venus conjunct Jupiter from 3-6 Cancer and the Sun at 14 Cancer conjunct the auspicious fixed Star Sirius! You could see the Moon in the USA Chart as the activator for the Lights- Venus and Jupiter are called the Benefics because of their bright Light, and of course the Sun is the Source of Light and Life for our Earth. I feel into what is going to help awaken us to our Light as the American people- that may come in by way of shocking, destabilizing, upheaval energy a la Uranus? Interestingly when you cast this chart for Washington, D.C. (the capital of the USA)- the Sun/Moon conjunction at 28’50 Aquarius is right smack on top of the Ascendant at 28’46 Aquarius and also conjunct the Part of Fortune and Part of Spirit which are both at 28’45 Aquarius. This compounds the fact that this Eclipse has some kind of Destiny energy for the USA!!! Both Saturn and Neptune are semisextile the Sun and Moon- at the Aries Point, heading to their conjunction on February 20th. My friend Randy Keller did the research to find that Saturn and Neptune have not cojoined at 0 Aries in the last 6000 years (it is not possible to go back further on Solar Fire). So yes we can consider this a once in many lifetimes event! This period of time from February 17th and the Solar Eclipse and the 20th with the Saturn/Neptune conjunction can be considered a portal of sorts- a window in which we want to be using this Astrology for the Highest Good of All! Aquarius’ gifts are of awakening the collective and helping humanity evolve and embrace positive change. Aries’ gifts are initiating and setting new things into motion. This is a great time to be connecting with community, tuning into humanity and setting new things into motion that are for the good of all- not just the few (WE not just ME- as can be seen in the Aquarius/Leo axis). Also something very interesting and might I say RARE- is that when the chart is cast for D.C. there is not one or two or 10 but 16 Arabic Parts that are precisely conjunct the Planets. This is highly unusual- usually I see a few here and there but I do not recall ever seeing this many. The ones that stand out to me other than the Sun/Moon/Ascendant with the Part of Fortune and the Part of Spirit are: The Part of Love and Part of Daughters conjunct the North Node of Destiny and Venus - the Divine Feminine leads the way in Love! The Women of the USA need to stand up and come from Love and lead the way! The Part of Increase and Part of Sons conjunct Jupiter- the Planet of Increase- the Divine Masculine experiences an INCREASE when the Divine Feminine leads. This is the secret of the Tarot- where all the cards point to this VERY PROFOUND SPIRITUAL TRUTH. The Feminine needs to lead- the Masculine follows and protects/defends her so she can walk the earth unharmed (as the Cherokee prophecy states). She receives from the Divine directly- and he follows her instruction. I will also have a Livestream this Sunday February 15th talking more about the course- you can join HERE) The Part of Fatality and the Part of Treachery both conjunct Saturn and Neptune at the Aries Point- we need to be aware of what we set into motion right now the rare Aries Point activation. The Part of Catastrophe conjunct Uranus- there could be unexpected things and events- earthquakes, airplane crashes, shocking or sudden events. But equally so it can be a bolt of metaphorical lightning that blows our minds (Uranus is the Higher Mind) open. The catastrophe of old illusions being shattered can be the result. The Part of Passion and the Part of the Mother conjunct Mars and Vesta- reminding us to be devoted to action in service of the Divine Feminine which is the frequency of Love, kindness, wholeness and integration. In terms of asteroids- the Sun and Moon are both opposite Eurydike (or Eurydice). Her myth is one of dependence and reliance. She was the wife of Orpheus and she died from a snake bite. He was so in love with her that he went all the way down to the Underworld to try to retrieve her. Hades and Persephone allow him to retrieve her but he must not look back at her as they walk out of the Underworld. At the last minute he does look back fearing he has been deceived and he loses her forever. Their myth is one of great love but also of great loss- both of which are part of the human experience. With Eurydike strong and Uranus square both- there can be a focus on the need to let go of people, places, things. Don’t let go to soon but also don’t hang onto long is a spiritual teaching. Love and Loss are a part of life and gripping too hard or letting go too soon both have their consequences. Death and endings are inevitable and trying to revive what is dead or not letting go creates issues. It is interesting to note that all planets are Direct except for Jupiter still in the Underworld but only for 24 more days (he stations Direct March 10th). In addition all Planets are moving FAST except for the Moon. This is great for taking action and movement but it’s also a reminder to make sure we slow our emotional reactions down so that the actions we take set into motion the things we truly want to bring into manifestation. When almost all the Planets are direct it is like a Train picking up speed- at a certain point we will not be able to break quickly so we want to make sure we are heading in the right direction! The Sabian Symbol for the New Moon/Solar Eclipse degree is ‘A butterfly emerging from a chrysalis’. With the Keynote “The capacity to utterly transform the character of one's consciousness by radically altering the structural patterns of everyday living and the types of relationships one enters upon.” This degree reminds us that “nothing short of a complete renewal of all the implications of being alive as a human individual will do. A RADICAL CHANGE IS NEEDED.” The change implied is on the individual and mental level- but it has the capacity to influence humanity as a whole. This degree reveals ‘the potential ability of every human being to participate in a Higher realm of evolution AFTER his/her emergence from a critical state of transition.’ In plain terms it means OUR INNER WORK NEEDS TO COME FIRST- and then we can contribute to the OUTER WORK IN THE WORLD. As within, so without. The Star Sparks degree is titled ‘the sound of dripping water echoes through a great stone room’. This degree reminds of why we need to turn within, meditate, be silent, be still. Because until we do this all those forces which are connected with us- are not going to come through unless we can stay here, sit with them and deeply tune in. I can hear the echo of what I have come to inside. I am undisturbed by any outside voices, by any outside forces, no matter how insistent they become. I am focused upon the unfocused. I am busy with what is not so busy. I’m letting go of the way it seemed and making way for what it might become. I don’t have any idea what to do with this vast space of mine. It’s in a whole other dimension from what I see around me. The only thing that appeals to me really is to dive in here further and further and see what happens. A man or a woman can get lost in here. Worlds of the past can fade. You can give up a whole lifetime-nobody will know. There’s no time, no sequence, nothing leads to anything else. Yet it’s not just a drifting, it’s not just a hang low. It’s the only place I am dropped in enough to breathe with all those forces which are connected with me and which are not gonna come through unless I stay in here and sit with them and tune in and pass the time. The whole wide world is inside of me. Everything I meet anywhere-it’s all in here. I don’t have to go anywhere. I just need to let myself be.
