The Full Moon at 13’03 Leo is exact on Sunday February 1st, 2026 at 3:09pm Mountain Time/5:09pm Eastern Time. This marks the midway point of the current Lunar Cycle we are in that began with the New Moon in Capricorn on January 18th (you can read the Lunar Insight for that New Moon here- https://divineharmony.com/lunar-insight/new-moon-in-capricorn-activation-on-another-level-1-18-26/)
A New Moon in Capricorn brings into focus themes around work, career, government, and business. It also brings into focus the things we do out of expectation and obligation and our use or misuse of power and control. The Leo Full Moon is a check point of what was seeded at that New Moon. On the one hand a Full Moon in Leo can show us where we are not following our hearts and living from the Truth of our being- and instead are adhering to outdated ideas and expectations, carrying a load that is not ours (or not entirely ours) to bear. On the other hand a Full Moon in Leo could be a reality check around ego energies and where we are doing things to be in power and have all the control and are not taking into account other people, their rights and freedoms and their needs.
This Full Moon is opposite a plethora of planets in Aquarius! From the Sun, Vesta, Venus and Mercury to the Mars and Pluto- all the Personal Planets are in opposition to this Full Moon and Pluto’s presence there packs a punch. We are just separating from the Mars/Pluto conjunction that happened on January 27th- a day after Neptune moved into Mars-ruled Aries for good. Mars/Pluto can exacerbate power dynamics in personal relationships and friendships (they are in Aquarius after all!)- but also on the world stage as Aquarius is about humanity, community and the collective.
The Full Moon opposes all of these Aquarius Planets and both the Sun and Moon also tensely aspect Saturn and Neptune who are making their way to their conjunction at the Aries Point on February 20th. Saturn and Neptune are ending a previous cycle and about to start a new one. But first we have the ending and completion of the old one that is in process. The previous Saturn/Neptune conjunction was at 12 Capricorn- seeding a new cycle in 1989 that focused on government, business, and rigid authoritarianism. The new conjunction in 2026 will be at 0 Aries- the start of the Tropical Zodiac and degree of the Spring Equinox- which focuses on individuality and agency. Being that Ares/Mars is the God of war it can also be focused on battles for supremacy.
Saturn solidifies while Neptune dissolves- so the two energies are opposite each other. There can be nebulousness, confusion and even purposeful manipulation going on due to Neptune’s presence. There can also be fear and resistance to letting go and surrendering due to Saturn’s presence. Add into this picture the fact that this conjunction at the Aries Point- which has not happened in 6000 years! The first degree of Aries is a massive reset point and correlates with world events and political, not just personal, themes.
So this Full Moon is triggering the waning cycle of Saturn/Neptune that is ending. It is interesting to see that we move from a Capricorn Saturn/Neptune cycle in 1989 to an Aries cycle in 2026- moving from Saturn ruled to Mars ruled- but both are still Malefics. Shadow issues around power and control are still up- but with the initiating fire energy it is great for movement and motion rather than the stasis of Saturn/Capricorn. Being able to determine what old ideas/paradigms/rules/constructs need to be dissolved for the new to come in is key.
The Sun/Moon opposition tightly aspects the asteroid Atlantis- with Atlantis being 7 minutes from precise conjunction to the Sun which is opposite the Full Moon. Atlantean themes are up BIG TIME at this Full Moon- which is a reminder of an ancient civilization whose technology outran their morality, whose desire for expansion and domination shut down their hearts.
Martha Lang Westcott says the keys words and phrases for this asteroid are ‘a sense of impending doom, a belief in deserved punishment/negative karma, invasions of privacy, access to inside or confidential information, abuse of resources talents or information, importance of confidentiality and use of knowledge, water disasters and warnings’. Essentially Atlantis evokes that age old mythic storyline of moral decline due to hubris, corruption, power seeking and expanding territory through military conquests- which eventually leads to the downfall and destruction of Atlantis.
I am sure many reading this will be thinking of what is going on in the world today- but it is very important to understand that ALL DOMINANT PATRIARCHAL CULTURES have been doing this for the last 5000 years. Most of them have been white men- but that is not always the case. But the energy behind them all has been the same- it has been one of power and control which expresses via war, violence, rape and extraction culture- which destroys humanity and destroys the earth.
This is what the Grail Myth is about- as the Grail Myth speaks to a Wounded Fisher King whose land has become a wasteland. His wound is in his groin or thigh and is symbolic of a sexual wound and one born of violence- rape and war being two of the most horrifying things people enact on each other. In the myth the wounded Fisher King needs a Pure Fool to come to the castle and ask the right questions- to release him from his immortal wound and take over being the Grail King. Yet what I sense happens is similar to the Karma of the Father Line- where Uranus represses his children from being born, so Saturn/Cronus revolts and takes power- and then Saturn eats his children, so Jupiter/Zeus revolts and takes power. I think the Grail King devolves and becomes wounded and needs the next in line to take over- but at some point this Pure Fool will do the same IF HE DOES NOT EXTRACT HIMSELF FROM THE KARMA OF THE FATHER LINE REPETITION CYCLE.
Why do I think this keeps repeating over and over again? Well all the men in this story line relate to the Grail as something outside of themselves- something to be conquered, captured, used to maintain their health or the health of the land. But that is the very thing that causes the wound and the wasteland. EXTRACTION CULTURE (taking and using) and WAR CONSCIOUSNESS (conquering, kiling)- keeps the men in the Grail Story locked in the eternal struggle of winner/loser, authority/rebel, old king who lost his morals and young fool who has not lost them yet but eventually will.
In the myth you can see that the medicine is the Divine Feminine. In the Grail Procession we see a Broken Sword and/or a Bleeding Lance- speaking to the Wounded Masculine elements of Air/Mind and Ego/Will/Fire. When we lead from the mind and ego we destroy and extract. In this same Procession we see a radiant Golden Grail and sometimes also a radiant silver Platter- representing the luminous feminine elements of Water/Heart/Soul and Earth/Body. The patriarchal movement has been one of up and out- expansion and dominance. But the feminine elements need to be honored if we are to have a fertile land. The Heart & Soul and the Body are not only key- they actually must LEAD with the mind/ego (air/fire) following. (see the Sabian Symbol for 14 Leo below to see how this ties into the Full Moon!)
In the Tarot cards you can see this hidden in plain sight- as the male looks to/defers to the female as she is the one that is receiving from the Angel above. It is the feminine in us all that receives from the Divine. She is the womb/chalice that receives- while he is the sword/phallus that protects. We have largely lost the Sacred Protector and Defender aspect of the Divine Masculine- as the rapist and the war monger has taken over. Lest you think this is just about the USA or White Men- the god of the bible instructs his people to kill, dominate and take land from other people. Is that heresy? Please re-read the bible! It’s all there hidden in plain sight!
ANY TEACHING THAT VALIDATES KILLING CONQUERING EXTRACTING OR DENIGRATING THE FEMININE (which is symbolizes as children, the elderly, indigenous cultures, animals and the Earth herself) is patriarchal and toxic- including teachings in the bible. Please stop metaphorically explaining this violence away. Saying that the people being killed in the bible ‘were wicked and turned away from the One True God’ is not an excuse. Different cultures have different beliefs and gods- and if all of these gods tell all of these people that they are the right ones, the others are the wrong/evil ones and they should destroy each other- the entire world will cease to exist as we all kill each other off because of our beliefs systems and moral ego based power tripping self righteousness.
This was what led to the fall of Atlantis and it can and will lead to the fall of modern humanity if we do not change our ways. Hubris and corruption and power seeking and military conquest leads to a wasteland.
Interestingly this Full Moon triggers the Nodes of Neptune. You may have heard of the Nodes of the Moon (North Node of Destiny, South Node of Karma). Well the other Planets have Nodes as well. The North Node of Neptune is at 12’02 Leo right now, the South Node is at 12’05 Aquarius. This Full Moon is conjunct the North Node of the Planet of the Higher Heart- with all the Aquarius Planets opposite the Full Moon triggering the South Node of Neptune (with Sun/Atlantis/Venus the tightest alignment).
The North Node of Neptune evokes the Highest of this Planet of the Higher Heart- Unconditional Love, Agape, Mysticism, Spiritual awakening, dreams and visions on a collective level, not just personal. The Leo Full Moon may seem like it is focused on the personal- but with the North Node of Neptune involved a Transpersonal Level is being activated. What is the Highest we can envision for humanity? Let us dream a new dream- which is actually where all new seeds of new beginnings truly begin. If we can dream it we can conceive it. Dreaming happens on an archetypal level- which is the true conception point.
I suggest we all use this Full Moon to dream in a new dream for the collective and for humanity. One that is in devotion to the Divine Feminine, to taking care of the Earth and her air, water and soil- of our physical health and our bodies, to protecting and defending the innocence and purity of children, to stewarding this Blessed Earth so that our children and our children’s children have something to inherit. The opposite of waste in wasteland is save, conserve, preserve. The land itself is the Earth. When we save the earth, preserve the earth, conserve the earth and her precious natural resources- we are protecting and defending against Earth becoming a wasteland.
I was telling a friend the other day that I think the Highest calling one can have is that of protecting the Earth and protecting our children. When our masculine archetype returns to his original template of Sacred Protector and Defender- rather than war monger, rapist, extractor and abuser- our feminine archetype can safely return to Earth (like the Goddess Astraea) and make the world fertile again. This is my dream- I hope you will dream it into existence with me.

SUN/ATLANTIS DEGREE
PHASE 314 (AQUARIUS 14°): A TRAIN ENTERING A TUNNEL.
KEYNOTE: The ability to short-cut the process of natural evolution by the exercise of will, mental skill and physical self-discipline.
In this symbol we see a condensation of what is implied in the three preceding ones. Man must be inspired by a vision of what is possible for him to achieve; he has to organize a schedule of necessary activities if the work is to be done in terms of successive moves, each requiring a specialized type of skill and strength (i.e. a hierarchy of functions); he has to find a propitious time for beginning the work. The end result is an acceleration of the evolutionary process, whether at the psychobiological level (that of yoga and other similar disciplines) or at the social level, i.e. the level at which, in its external aspect, civilization proceeds.
This fourth stage symbol presents a picture of what can be achieved by a combination of social and cultural, and even personal, techniques. It implies the possibility of shortening the length of time needed for progress by cutting through obstacles and delays. The Keyword is PENETRATION.

Abundance. Fertility. Fresh horizons.
Once we center on beauty, concentrate upon the bounty that sparks each cell of
our existence here, we begin to bring forth that which we conceive, that which we
surround ourselves with as a new world birthing. It is so much a matter of cherishing,
honoring, beholding, witnessing that which is the most vital element. It is entirely up to
us here to activate the vastness, to expand our gifts, to plant the seed, to tend the
flame of all bright hopes and dreams.
We are entrusted with the Earth and all of those who live here. We are granted
the immense responsibility to bring everybody alive and make all things prosper. And
there is a great shadow to this task.
A distortion slips in. It grows secretly. Gradually it takes over. Inside the
distortion, I am doing all this, I am given all this, and it is my story, my destiny, my task.
Everything then depends upon me. I am the one to make all things bright and beautiful. I
am the one who can poison things by my intoxication with the subtle reflection I let
myself fall for.
Then we need a cleansing. A purging. We need to forget our own magnificent
part and remember the whole on its own terms. Then when we come back to ourselves,
we are a truth vessel, but we are not the truth, we are not the light. Only a selfless faith
can serve the truth and the light and be affective.
These distortions are insidious. These partial truths are so easy to entertain.
Pride seems almost innocuous at first. Yet when the stakes are this high, we do color
everything by how we see it, how we feel it, how we know it. The real task is to get
ourselves out of the way so that all can flourish here.
SUN/ATLANTIS DEGREE
Aquarius 14
In a pyramid, a dark passageway filled with scorpions
Being driven to despair. Being tested mightily. Coming upon a dark cycle, a dark
world, a dark interior domain. A certain kind of possession or overwhelm. Having to play
out fears and doubts, old heavy feelings and the mind’s most negative ideas and
concepts.
A concentrated, condensed dosage of pure darkness. The killing off of old, used
up selves. A force of the depths that can become evil or can become redemptive.
The evil aspect arises if the internal states are projected out into the world. Then
there can come a certain cold hard projectile where everything is permissible. And this is
a sticky state that is hard to get out of once you take it on.
The redemptive aspect is there as soon as the inner experience is seen in a true
light. When the soul is struggling and battling with deep shadows, of course they show
up everywhere. Yet the intended track is to take responsibility for doubt and fear and
their ravages. Then it becomes clear that there is a passage, a phase of the journey, one
which will end and is being worked through from a whole other level.
That redemptive consciousness is seeking to be born in the deepest
darkness and prefers it that way. In fact, what arises can only come if the depths
have been plumbed and death has been entered upon from many different sides.
This is not an easy way to go. Yet it will bring forth immense changes.
What ultimately becomes possible is the most sober respect for every side of life
without any aloof, smug, or high and mighty spaces to identify within ever again. We are
learning that our own grand-master cast a big shadow. And we are also discovering that we
can be schooled by that shadow to be more deeply present and brimmingly alive.
