i don’t know about you all, but i am totally and completely swimming in the neptunian vibes this week. neptune is at the last degree of aquarius and will move into pisces, where he will stay for the next 13 years, on february 3rd. for the next week we are in the dark moon phase of neptune- meaning we are in the transition space from one sign to the next. this is a very potent space to be- much like being in liminal space, or the spaces in between. we are in a time that is not about definition, but about dissolution. this can be a scary place for many- but it is the Source of creativity and inspiration for mystics, artists and lovers :)
i have to say there definitely is a very spacey vibe going on right now- and dreamtime is better than any technicolor movie i could think of! there is a lot of processing of old karmas happening in dreamtime. themes/situations/relationships/paradigms that began about 14 years ago are dissolving and/or being asked to transform in some way. neptune is the activator of mystical experience and Union with the Divine, but he also brings illusion, confusion and deception. the line between delusion and spiritual reality is very, very fine- and this last week of neptune’s stay in aquarius can bring us face to face with all we thought we knew but in actuality we did not. our biggest shadows and areas of greatest confusion and/or denial can arise. yet we need to be sure we are not so quick to point it out in others- especially before we focus the harsh light of inquiry within. the people who love to point out everyone’s shadow and ‘make them bad’ for it tend to be the ones most resistant to doing their own deep self-inquiry. don’t let yourself get caught in this space- otherwise you won’t be able to do the potent clearing out work available to you this week before neptune moves into pisces.
when neptune moves into pisces we will be taken into even deeper unconscious and mystical waters. neptune rules pisces and on the one hand will be quite happy here as he is returning home, and on the other this placement can exacerbate the shadow qualities of neptune and pisces tenfold. how you experience this transit over the coming 13 years largely depends on what will get activated in your natal chart as well as how integrated you are with your own neptune/pisces energy. for more info on this read the horoscopes for next week and/or schedule a reading (april 2012 is when i resume readings!).
currently mars is in virgo, just having gone retrograde this past monday, and he is a counterbalance to all the spacey/spiritual energy neptune is tuning into. mars in virgo demands we analyze, assess, find clarity, focus on the details and clear out the past. mars is in the sign opposite of where neptune is heading- so the polarity between these two is likely to feel heightened right now (with more to come as neptune shifts signs). virgo is the sign of what is, while pisces is the sign of what can be. mars is the planet of will and action, while neptune is the planet of Higher consciousness and surrender. we are each being asked to find a new balance between these two polarities. for some, there is a need to learn to let go, surrender and quit fighting/analyzing/being in the head so much. for others, there is a need to take a stand, take action, define boundaries and move out of denial. wherever you meet your own resistance is likely the place where your growth lies. a little self-honestly will point you in the right direction ;)
these are interesting times we are living in. this week full of solar flares (m-class, c-class and then an x-class this morning) has only served to add some spicey icing to the cake! the energy is picking up- don’t be in denial about it. but if we can focus our intent and our awareness on what we need to do in our personal lives to get into integrity, authenticity and impeccability- everything else will fall into place. don’t concern yourself with other people’s alignment- just focus on yours. people/situations/paradigms that cannot meet you will fall to the wayside, while others will rise to the occassion and evolve with you. letting go of the past is so key in opening up to what is possible- so stay open to the shifts, don’t resist!
