Uranus moves out of Taurus and into Gemini- shifting the Higher Mind and Planet of Change and Upheaval from Earthy, Fixed Venus-ruled Taurus and into Airy, Mutable, Mercury-ruled Gemini. Uranus was not super comfortable in Taurus- as Uranus’ nature is change and Taurus likes to hold onto things out of safety and security. Uranus in Gemini is much more comfortable as Uranus rules airy Aquarius- and is the Planet of the Higher Mind. Gemini is also an Air Sign and is the sign of the lower mind- so the Air/mind energy is common ground for them both.
Uranus brings CHANGE- and often he does so on a dime, even to the minute of an exact Uranus transit (I have seen this way too many times as an astrologer- it’s amazing to witness!). Uranus in Gemini will bring the winds of change energy to our minds, thoughts and how we perceive reality. There can be AI (Artificial Intelligence) advancements in these areas of life- but also perhaps things that have consequences on the level of the mind and perception. For example there is so much AI art out there that people are having a hard time discerning what is real/made by humans versus what has been computer generated. Losing our power of discernment and perception is NOT a good thing- but AI technology that helps people with brain injuries or nervous system illnesses can be a good thing. We do want to tread carefully in the coming 7-8 years about what advancements we set into motion and what the long term consequences could be.
Uranus in Gemini can bring change to borders and boundaries of countries, states, cities and neighborhoods. This is also a harbringer of change to education. Gemini governs early childhood education through high school (Sagittarius is college and beyond). Our school systems are most definitely outdated- so new energy coming into them is warranted. But if those changes shift everything online, involve kids using chat GPT to write papers and more- these changes could be bad long term for the brain and its capacity for growth and evolution.
Gemini relates to the lungs in the body and there is a connection to grief here. As an Air sign and Uranus as an Air planet- both prefer to talk about grief rather than actually feel it. The impetus to go up and out- not be in the body- think and analyze until the cows come home- can all be Uranus in Gemini on overdrive. Dealing with emotions- not escaping them- is going to be key in the years to come. If we do not do this we can find more disembodied people- and when we are not in the body we are easier to manipulate and also easier to occupy by other energies and entities. DO NOT GO UP AND OUT- YOU NEED TO COME ALL THE WAY DOWN AND IN.
Changes in transportation can be incoming- from cars, buses, trains, planes and more- we can have some sudden, seemingly light speed advancements happening in this area of life. Changes and/or upheavals in communication- via media, news, advertising and other forms of information sharing- are also possible.
In ancient mythology in both Egypt and India- Gemini the twins were male and female, not 2 brothers. One was human (the male) and one was Divine (the female). So we can also find that the themes around twins, twin flames, masculine/feminine, shadow/light, human/divine- and the journey of integration regarding these seeming opposites- come front and center in a REALLY BIG way in the coming 7 years.
Gemini is like the butterfly that flits from flower to flower- liking to try everything just a little bit. Uranus in Gemini can open us to new ideas, new dimensions of awareness and more! But it can also make the mind and neurosis go on OVERDRIVE and the tendency to learn a little about many things and just skim the surface is most definitely there. Hence the reason this blog starts off with the Alexander Pope quote. We want to make sure we drink deep- we want sobriety not intoxication. All the new gadgets can keep us chasing after the next new thing- never sticking with something long enough to master it. Also be aware of sleight of hand (and marketing/AI) as the capacity to use magical energies of illusion and surface captivation is getting stronger.

A WORD TO THE WISE- it’s all in the EYES. if the eyes do not reflect LOVE AND LIGHT- do not engage. you can also feel it in the field but if you are not attuned – start with the eyes. they are not called windows to the Soul for no reason (this goes for aliens, people, spiritual teachers and more)
when you are attuned you can feel the Heart energy (or lack of it) in someone’s auric field. pay attention to how you feel around someone. your body is your barometer
just like vampires- things can only come in if you invite them in. you have sovereign power over your own field. only allow in what is of Love and of Light. and work on your own shadow so that the inner undigested stuff does not attract outer reflections of it.
