we are entering into an intense last half of september! the important days to be aware of (and the days surrounding them) are september 17th and 18th and september 29th. if you are have read the monthly forecast (members-only info) then you already know about this, but in the event that you are not a member or missed this information i am sharing it now as a head’s up- forewarned is forearmed! ;)
september 17th and 18th (monday and tuesday of next week) are SUPER potent for several reasons. on monday saturn in libra quincuxes the south node in taurus which is conjunct algol- a dark feminine fixed star that is often referred to as the demon star. this intense aspect pits the lord of karma against the karmic past and can bring up/exacerbate shadow dynamics, power/control issues and intensity. particularly in relationships- since both saturn and the south node are in venus-ruled signs- we need to be aware of old karmic patterns playing out that are toxic and destructive. we need to make a different choice! the north node is in transformative scorpio which requires a death of the old order and a releasing of attachments. the south node in taurus likes to hang on to things/people/money for security and safety- but the frequency right now is about change, it’s not about stability. we need to make peace with the new frequency and learn to ride the waves, rather than try to control/stop them.
on the same day pluto, the lord of the underworld, stations direct- making pluto the most powerful planet in the sky! he is already a heavy hitter and in stationary direct motion his power is focused, much like the eye of a storm is the most powerful center out of which the rest of the storm comes. with pluto stationing direct all things pluto related are highlighted- death and rebirth, toxicity and shadow, transformation, empowerment, shadow dynamics and deep subconscious energies coming to Light.
the next day, on the 18th, uranus squares pluto for the second time- but this time pluto is stationary. this is likely going to be the most intense uranus/pluto square of all seven of them (they last until 2015) because pluto is stationary. change is the order of the day (and the week, the month, the year…). remembering the mantra ‘breakdowns precede breakthroughs’ can be helpful at this time as anything that is out alignment or out of integrity is certainly going to come into Light in dramatic and perhaps destructive ways. there is a need to totally eradicate an old order- personally and collectively- so something new can be birthed. if we are holding onto that old order for safety and security- these uranus/pluto years are going to be one long transit of anxiety, fear and chaos. but if we can work with the frequency of change then the coming years can be about liberation and evolution!
as you can see the 17th and 18th are powerful days- but that is not the only potent dynamic this month. we also have a very intense full moon on saturday the 29th. the full moon in aries is conjunct uranus and square pluto- activating the uranus/pluto square. whenever personal planets move into the cardinal signs- aries, cancer, libra or capricorn- they will activate the uranus/pluto square. on the 29th the sun in libra opposes the moon in aries and we have not one personal planet (luminary) activating this dynamic- we have TWO. the sun and the moon both activate/get activated by uranus and pluto – making this a really intense full moon with a lot of pressurized energy in the collective and personal Unconscious ready to blow! whatever we are NOT looking at or dealing with is likely to be up BIG TIME at the time of this full moon. actually whatever we are not looking up is likely to be up big time the entire last half of the month of september! it’s a very intense last part of the month- likely the most intense astrology we will see in 2012.
intensity is not a bad thing- it is the means to transform a rock into a diamond. it is an alchemical force that purifies things. wherever there is impurity, toxicity or Unconsciousness- the astrology of the coming years has the power to activate it so that we can see it and deal with it. avoiding doing the work is not going to be helpful, as this astrology lasts until 2015. i recommend figuring out where your work is and getting to it. is it finances? relationship? career? what area of your life is asking you to evolve- BIG TIME? it’s time to get on the evolutionary train and direct it, rather than be dragged by it. intense transpersonal planetary forces are solely focused on change and evolution- and that is what we have a ton of in the coming years. and the rest of this month is simply and activating force of the changes/evolution to come.
