today is a dynamic day. at 8:00am PDT (just a bit before i began writing this blog) the sun in cancer started triggering the uranus/pluto square that was exact for the first time this past sunday (6/24). at 8am the sun opposes retrograde pluto in capricorn and at 1:11pm the sun squares uranus in aries. for the next 3 years anytime a personal planet (sun, moon, mercury, venus or mars) moves into the cardinal signs of aries, cancer, libra or capricorn they will trigger the uranus/pluto square. when transpersonal, slow moving planets are in tense aspect it can be felt in the undercurrents of the collective, but it is the personal planets activating them that are more likely to bring to Light themes of the changes/breakdowns/transformations to come. add into the mix the fact that we are also approaching a potent full moon on july 3rd that will activate the uranus/pluto square energies (the sun in cancer is opposite the full moon in capricorn conjunct pluto and both are square to uranus- making a T-square out of the planets and activating A LOT of energy) and you have a recipe for potency and intensity! essentially the energy is high through tuesday the 3rd.
pay close attention to what is happening in your life today and through the weekend as the sun’s illumination of the uranus/pluto square can bring major insights, aha moments and confrontations with Truth that you need to face and deal with in your life. last week’s uranus/pluto square was timed with the start of the massive fires occurring all over the western part of the US- most notably in colorado springs. i also heard about a very unfortunate homicide that occurred at a hippie dance festival in canada that occurred right when this aspect was exact. over the coming years we can expect the intensity to increase and Mother Earth’s messages to get louder. are we listening yet??? for those of us who need to get fired up and activated to make change, speak up, stand up and say no- this transit will do it! but we have to remember that people who already have too much fire and tend towards violence, domination and control will also be feeling this. awareness is power, so make sure to use discernment (not judgement) over the coming years.
remember- the uranus/pluto square mantra is ‘breakdowns precede breakthroughs’. the quicker we get into alignment with what needs to be purged/released/let go of in our lives the easier the transition will be and the quicker we will get to the breakthrough/transformation part of the journey. for some of us we will get on board right away and the next 3 years will bring us amazing shifts, sudden opportunities and galactic activation! for others it may take all 3 years of the uranus/pluto square transits to really see that the symbolic deaths occurring in our lives were beneficial and necessary and that fighting it will only wear us down and prolong the intensity. either way- change is a-coming!
