yes you read it right- mercury stations direct today at 5:43pm PST! this was one intense mercury retrograde for several reasons. first of all mercury traveled the same degrees that the eclipse portal activated. the solar eclipse fell at 3 sadge and the lunar eclispe fell at 19 gemini/19 sadge (moon opposite sun respectively), and mercury stationed retrograde the day before thanksgiving at 20 sadge and stations direct today at 4 sadge. with the winged messenger’s retrograde moving through the eclipse passage it has heightened the energy of endings, transformation and change in major ways.
on top of that mercury is the ruler of the recent lunar eclipse that was conjunct the south node in gemini- which points to past emotional karma coming to a head/crisis point and a need to release the past- BIG TIME. with mercury’s station today it is likely that eclipse energy is still in full effect- so pay attention to any dramas, insights, aha moments or endings going on today/this week. whatever it is is HUGE.
and last, but certainly not least, by the time mercury exits his shadow on new year’s eve he will have made a conjunction to the great attractor/north node conjunction three times. the great attractor is a major evolutionary point that impulses us to transform and grow in dramatic fashion. with the evolutionary north node conjunction the great attractor- anyone stuck in the past is going to be in the fire right now. but if you are taking the bull by the horns and doing the work you need to do- right now you can see the new path that is opening up for you that is bigger, brighter and karmically lighter than you could have even imagined.
transformation is where it’s at right now- but keep in mind that to transform one must let one thing die so another can be reborn. a lot of us are still in the alchemical fire at the moment and have not yet made it to the ‘phoenix rising out of the ashes’ stage. if that is where you are at- stay focused on the goal and do the work demanded of you. it will be worth it!
yes mercury goes direct today- but he still has his third and final conjunction with the north node and the great attractor to make (12/27) and his shadow to clear (12/31). so get clear on things and start moving in the right direction- but expect that more insights, aha moments and sudden realizations are yet to come. this year is truly going out with a bang! it’s intense- but without intensity we often won’t change/grow/evolve. so give thanks for the intensity (if you can) and work to master what it is you are being asked to master. what you do now impacts 2012- personally and collectively. raise the vibration!!!
