hello friends! chiron semisextiles juno today- activating the deep and profound journey juno is currently undergoing. JUNO is the asteroid goddess of partnership and marriage. venus rules romance, our desires and what we like or are attracted to- but juno rules committed partnership, our needs and what our non-negotiables are for long-term committed relationship. she also governs contracts and legal agreements between partners (past or present) and on a deeper level can symbolize what we are deeply committed to and how we commit to ourselves and our own path/journey of growth.
juno is currently undergoing 4 major planetary transits which focuses A LOT of energy and activation on relationships/commitments and contractual arrangements of all kinds. all year long juno will be squared by saturn, sextiled by uranus (the ruler of the sign juno is in right now), semisextiled by pluto and semisextiled by chiron. the outer planet/oid transits (uranus, pluto, chiron) are HARMONIOUS while the social/teacher planet transit (saturn) is more intense.
if you recall the outer planets are meant to bring in divine energies and their sole focus is on our evolution and growth, NOT on our personal attachments or ego desires. saturn, on the other hand, is all about 3d reality and binding commitments/obligations/karmic contracts as well as our path of mastery and maturity that we navigate as we deal with them. with tense saturn/juno there are definite cold hard realities in relationships/commitments/contractual arrangements that we cannot escape from. it can seem unfair (and it very well may be), but it is what it is! yet the outer planetary transits show that new life, liberation, transformation and healing ARE POSSIBLE! so stick with the process and ride it out- as there is something here for you to learn if you will stay present and open to the lessons.
i leave you with a poem my friend posted yesterday that was so very appropriate for the lunar eclipse in scorpio as well as this entire week of heavy saturn/scorpio astrology:
Someone I loved once gave me
a box full of darkness.
It took me years to understand
that this, too, was a gift.
