i know valentine’s day is a commercial holiday that is about consumption and consumerism- but i still like it :) holidays are like rituals- special days where you do something ceremonial in honor of whatever holiday it is. since i have a lot of neptune in my chart i am total romantic. i am going to see the movie ‘the vow’ this week so i can cry my eyes out :) this kind of stuff is fun for a neptune/pisces person- just ask one.
yet today’s astrology is very intense- not neptunian at all! we have a lot of neptune this week due to the sun and mercury’s ingress into pisces and the plethora of aspects they both will make over the next two weeks. but when it comes to matters of Love or money (what venus rules) the energy is pretty fierce and possibly explosive today!
we have an approaching square between venus and pluto (exact tomorrow at 10:31am PST), pluto squared ceres this morning (at 9:34am) and the moon is in scorpio (pluto’s sign) and void of course from 9am until 5pm when it moves into sadge. with venus completing her activation of the uranus/pluto square tomorrow- today is likely to unearth any shadow or power/control dynamics playing out in relationships and financial situations. change is in the air when it comes to Love and money! with pluto square ceres deep changes and shadow dynamics are also playing out in family situations and in regards to our sense of security. and with the moon void in scorpio until early evening things are deep, passionate, intense and perhaps even dark. when the moon moves into sagittarius at 5pm things should lighten up a bit- but we still have the venus/pluto square looming- so don’t expect release until later tomorrow.
with so much pluto on v-day we have passion and intensity heightened. this can be good (as in great sex, deep Soulful connection, revealing parts of yourself to another (or yourself!) in deep intimacy, etc…) or it can not so good (as in destructive energy, Truths that are no so pretty coming to Light, something that you have relied on dying, etc…). keep in mind that anytime a personal planet moves into cardinal signs (aries, cancer, libra, capricorn) they will trigger the uranus/pluto square. this square is in effect for the next 3-4 years, so the areas where they are transiting in your natal chart will be under construction/reconstruction for a while, especially if you have natal planets or angles getting direct hits!
