on the heels of a new moon in detached, visionary, evolutionary aquarius- venus squared saturn late sunday night (the 10th), bringing another round of focus (which is a long term thing right now) on the limitations/restrictions/karmic patterns playing out in relationships, finances and self-worth. reality checks in Love and money is where it’s at right now. addressing what IS first so that what is possible can be manifested is key- it’s not a time to have your head in the clouds seeing all the beauty and ignoring the shadow. if you thought the weekend was heavy, this week doesn’t necessarily lighten up! it actually deepens…
the week starts off with mars and chiron conjunct each other (tuesday the 12th) making for dynamism between the will and warrior and the wounded healer. at best this energy supports us in being spiritual activists, fighting for the underdog, taking a proactive stance for our own personal healing and evolution, and implementing/taking action on our dreams. yet the shadow side is just as likely to manifest: old pain and wounds resurfacing around the masculine, will, drive, anger, desire nature, sexuality, denial, avoidance, confusion and overall nebulousness.
this week, like last week, has a both a heaviness and a karmic energy to it. opportunities to clear out karmic patterns OR entrench ourselves in them even further (which then creates more karma) are strongly present this week. it is up to us to choose how we channel and work with the energy.
the upside of this energy is that mars activates the saturn/pluto/chiron aspect. saturn and pluto are in mutual reception (in each other’s signs) and they are sextile each other right now and throughout 2013- helping us to do deep shadow work, get to the bottom of toxic structures in our lives and clear out the shit that has gotten stuck there (literally, spiritually, psychologically and emotionally) . saturn and chiron are trine each other in water signs, helping us to access some very deep emotions and do some deeply transformative shadow work. with the planet of mastery (saturn), the planet of transformation (pluto) and the planetoid of healing (chiron) getting together the opportunities for massive shifts of consciousness- personally and collectively- are huge! and mars getting into the action with all three is a palpable motivating force to deal with what comes up, move forward in life and get going on our path of healing, growth and evolution.
for those interested in specific dates (which often correlate with a focusing of the energy at hand) mars aligns with chiron on tuesday the 12th, sextiles pluto on friday the 15th and trines saturn on saturday the 16th. pay attention to the deep wounds and pain coming up for you at the start of the week and then look to the end of the week for some kind of opening to see the future and where the path is leading you.
