yesterday venus, the goddess of Love and beauty, moved into aries- the sign of the warrior. positively love, relationship, art and beauty can be expressed with honesty, forthrightness and trailblazing passion. yet with the lover in the sign of war we have to watch out for being overly impulsive, aggressive and destructively blunt (foot in mouth disease anyone?). later tonight venus cojoins uranus (exact at 6:30pm PST) and squares pluto next wednesday the 15th (at 10:31am)- triggering the uranus/pluto square over the next week. we can expect the unexpected in relationships and financial situations, as well as shadow dynamics, death/rebirth experiences and a need for profound transformation of the old so we can give birth to the new. valentine’s day is right smack in the middle of this- so it may be more passionate and intense than you are expecting or even asking for! this v-day is not for the faint hearted ;)
over the next 3 years whenever the luminaries (sun and moon) or a personal planet (mercury, venus or mars) moves into the cardinal signs it will trigger the uranus/pluto square (see my recently posted blog ‘uranus square pluto’ for more info on this dynamic activation that will unfold from 2012-2015). so whenever any of the above planets or lights move into early degrees of aries, cancer, libra or capricorn we will get a huge dose of energy in our personal lives. if you have planets or placements there you will feel it even more! but because 0 degrees of said cardinal signs are connected to the public/collective/political we are also likely to see things play out on the world stage.
as a side note- if you are planning on getting married in the next 3 years it is best to avoid the personal planets in early cardinal signs as this dynamic square will factor into your wedding chart. i know this first hand as i am trying to plan a wedding! i joking asked my finance if he’d mind waiting until 2015 to get married- he did not find this funny ;)
so tonight things get firey and fiesty and the next week is under fire. is it an alchemical fire of transformation or a destructive fire where only that which can withstand the heat survives? i guess we will see…
