this weekend is a mix of fire and ice. on friday morning mercury moves into aries (fire)- the sign of the warrior. mercury is going to go retrograde on 3/12 but not before he cojoins uranus, the great awakener and rebel. he will cojoins uranus 2 more times due to his retrograde and will square pluto in april- dragging out the uranus/pluto square energies (radical change/restructure/death/rebirth and evolution) and bringing them into our conversation, communication and thinking.
then a day later, on saturday, the sun will opposes mars midday (fire)- bringing conflict and aggression out into the open. remember mars is retrograde right now (until 4/13) so anything that is being repressed, avoided or constricted is likely to blow up this weekend. positively this energy can be channelled into taking action, getting clear and creating good boundaries!
then on sunday venus opposes saturn (ice)- bringing us face to face with the cold, hard reality around finances, relationships and our own self-worth. venus/saturn is sobering and real- not pretty and romantic. yet without saturn (reality, commitment) we won’t have relationships that last very long or go very far. so this weekend is a great time to get clear on Love on money situations that have outlived their usefulness and let them go, and get clear on what is there for our growth and is good for us and root down and commit MORE.
the weekend is not really a walk in the park :( but it can be productive if we are open and honest (aries/mars) and attending to reality. take responsibility for your life and then do what you need to do to change it!
